You can upload photos that exist on your system by clicking—
IMG_20250709_132442.jpg
—this icon above your text window. But be careful. There are restrictions on what is allowed, and nobody seems clear on what those restrictions are. Nothing too large, and nothing to explicit, it seems.

It they're posted as links, they stay as links. You can only have the actual photo appear inline if you upload it from your system. I think what has changed is that a lot more people are posting just links now, as an attempt to sidestep the new and stricter attention to censorship.

As you can see from my post above, I've posted an image. When she quoted it, it changed to an internal link. But in my original post, it appeared as image.
