Last year I managed to gather enough courage to walk around a Waitrose food store in a bikini. I had to get a little tipsy, but once I got used to it - and got used to enjoying the attention while realising nobody was going to stop me - then I really enjoyed it. It was some 1/4 mile for the waterfront so it must have seemed acceptable, although I've never seen any other women doing that sort of thing there.

Sounds like Brighton level of tolerance

Most guys, including yours truly, want to see a two piece, no doubt. But a lot of ladies don't have the comfort level for such because of body issues related to whatever (child bearing, etc.). My 62 yo wife has not put a straight out two piece on in years. This is what she's currently wearing, shown at a recent beach we visited...
