President Donald Trump laid into New York City Democrats in a Wednesday afternoon post to Truth Social, saying they’d finally “crossed the line” when Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani pulled out a Democratic primary win in the New York City mayoral election.

“It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line,” Trump began in the first of two posts. “Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous.”

“He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him, and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, is groveling over him,” Trump continued. “Yes, this is a big moment in the History of our Country!

In the second post, Trump offered some advice to the Democratic Party moving forward, suggesting they should go all in and nominate Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) for the presidency in 2028. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), he said, should be her vice presidential candidate.

n Tuesday night, election results showed that voters in New York City had selected Uganda-born, self-proclaimed socialist Zohran Mandami as the Democrat candidate for New York City mayor. If Mandami’s win tells us anything, it’s that immigration policy is not just about border security, it’s about whether the United States survives.

As Fox News’ Laura Ingraham said in a post on X, “You think NYC’s turn to socialism and communism is just a ‘New York’ thing? It’s not. Uncontrolled immigration, green-lit since the 80s by the Uniparty, is remaking every American community. We imported anti-Americanism, cultivated it in schools. Now comes the poisonous crop.”


Ingraham is right: It’s not just New York City. The demographic and ideological reshaping is happening elsewhere across the country. It’s in Hamtramck, Michigan, a small town that became “flooded” with immigrants and became the “first Muslim-majority city,” according to the Detroit Free Press.

“The nation’s first and only all-Muslim City Council had just voted to rename Holbrook Avenue — one of Hamtramck’s main arteries — Palestine Avenue, in reaction to the Israel-Hamas war, then in its fourth month,” John Carlisle wrote. “The road was originally named after Dewitt Holbrook, a 19th-Century lawyer who owned a farm not far from this very spot. The name had stuck for about 125 years. Until this day.”

Zohran Kwame Mamdani, the Muslim extremist Democratic nominee in New York City’s mayoral race, has proposed a controversial plan to “hift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer and whiter neighborhoods.” His policy memo claims that the city’s current system favors homeowners in gentrifying areas, and he aims to raise taxes on properties more likely to be owned by affluent white people so he can lower them in lower-income neighborhoods. He is himself a Ugandan immigrant of Indian heritage, only becoming an American citizen in 2018.

Mamdani has also advocated for other radical measures, including city-owned grocery stores, defunding the police, and abolishing prisons. His proposals have sparked backlash from Republicans and moderates nationwide.

Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) has been particularly critical of Mamdani, even calling for him to be stripped of his American citizenship if it turns out he failed to disclose terrorist sympathies during his naturalization process. In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Ogles accused Mamdani of expressing support for individuals linked to Hamas, stating, “Zohran ‘little muhammad’ Mamdani is an antisemitic, socialist, communist who will destroy the great City of New York.”

Billionaire Bill Ackman has pledged significant financial resources to prevent Mamdani’s election. “There are hundreds of millions of dollars of capital available to back a competitor to Mamdani that can be put together overnight,” said Ackman, CEO of Pershing Square Capital.

Well this was certainly unexpected. The leftist Washington Post dropped a devastating op-ed Friday by its editorial board that ripped into democratic socialist mayoral hopeful Zohran Mamdani and said that he would be “bad for New York.”

As we reported, the political novice won a shocking victory in Tuesday's Democrat NYC mayoral primary, beating disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo and putting himself in prime position for the November general election.

Usually the liberal rag is little more than a mouthpiece for the DNC, so to see them go after a Democrat this hard is a stunner and reveals two things: 1) Mamdani and his extremist policies are truly a danger to the Big Apple, and 2), leftists are scared right now. As I wrote earlier Friday, Mamdani could turn out to be a “big, beautiful gift” to the GOP because we can and will pound away the narrative that this guy is the new face of the Democrat party.

Even for many libs, this permanently-grinning specter with his socialist utopia visions, grand tax schemes and antisemitism is a bridge too far.
