Is it really considered a “holiday”. All around the world, it is a day to appreciate somebody who you feel deserves a thank you. After your original comment, you also saidNo, I just do NOT like this bullshit "holiday". It's commercialized like Mother's Day, but not as bad as Valentine's Day. Seriously, all my dad did on Father's Day was relax, cook a cheap ass steak while drinking a beer out of a little brown bottle, and tried to embarrass us by wearing socks with sandals!!!!
I said I do NOT like people who lose their shit when I tell them I don't celebrate the "holiday"!!!
Christ, READ THE ORIGINAL comment!!!
“It is as fake as Valentine's Day, where men are browbeat to purchase jewelry and other over-priced items. If you love someone, you don't need a day to remind you.
Same goes for Father's Day. And Mother's Day. You have only one mother and one father, unless you're lucky to have good relationships with steps. TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM EVERY DAY!!!”
That is what my comment was referring to. Who are you to judge whether people do or don’t tell those around them that they love them every day or not. Most people I know, tell and show love quite a lot of the time but also show appreciation on days designated to show that appreciation.
And please do not reply to me in capital letters. Being angry at a stranger on the internet is not a way that a grown man should behave and I would hope that your father didn’t teach you to behave like that
