What Are You Thinking? Continued 14

Hey southern states…can you take your weather back please? It’s 91 here and the sun is shining strong for 22 hours and we don’t have AC. I’d really appreciate it. K, thanks!
Your power out? Or you don't have AC period? Either way that's a bad situation

.... ā˜€ļø... I get it, this is summer.. summer solstice even! But I am going to be an echo of @Chillygirl now:
Southern Europe, please take your weather back, it is 06:53 in the morning and already 24°, we are a country without AC but with triple insulated windows.

We do not do this warm weather!

Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Summer dresses with nothing underneath.

Houses aren’t built with AC up here. The apartment I’m in has old windows and can’t put a small ac unit in there. I have a couple fans going.
Well, I guess keep those fans going. A cold, wet towel on the back of the neck helps for a short while. I hate hot weather.

Winter solstice here today and it's fricken freezing...

I’m trying to find a block of ice or I’ll make my own! Homemade swamp cooler!
Take six bottles of water and put them in the freezer. When it gets hot take one and put it where the fan intakes. When the ice is mostly melted, stick that one back in the freezer and get another.

I say "where the air intakes" because for awhile I had one of those neat tower fans that had intakes on both side of the base rather than behind. I'd put a bottle of ice next to each intake and change 'em about every 90 minutes to two hours depending on whether we broke 110 that day.

I'm 700km up the road from you and not sure how accurate our kitchen thermometer is but we show 15°? I would guess 2 hrs ago it would have been 14 or less, that's a 10° difference from you. Denmark's great but I think it's cursed :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: 🄰

Wait. That's only 75. What are your normal temps this time of year?

Hahaha! It is definitely too warm today and on all other days.. most likely a bit windy or rainy, with those few but gorgeous summer days in between.

Everything good up there? 🄰

... But this early!

To us, an official summer day (yes, we have standards for such a peculiar thing) would be a day above 25°.
We usually get those in late July and August, very, very rarely in June!!

Normally the temp in June would be between 11° in the night and everything between 15° to 24° in the daytime.

Today we are going to reach above 27° most places, and I am already feeling sticky. (Yeah... I know, compared to you, this is nothing.. but we really are not used to it.)
