The Army totally trolled Trump at his own birthday parade! The troops walked past (not marching) to the strains of 'Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival--a song about a rich draft dodger buying his way out of the Vietnam War. Malicious compliance at its best.

There were Army family-type events during the earlier hours, the original event things. The add-on tanks etc were the felon's idea and on his schedule.

I admit I've only seen snippets here in the UK as it's largely been overshadowed by other events. But it stuck me more as a Trump rally than a way of respecting the armed forces.

The Army deserved better than this. The commander in chief let them down in every way.
He chose to make it about his birthday... If you look at his administration's statements of the day, they wished dear leader a happy birthday before honoring our US Army.
They deserved better.
Btw - band of brothers is possibly the best rendition of world war two I've ever seen. The Pacific didn't quite match up but is a good third place.
Now to watch Saving Private Ryan.
