You're Never Going To Get Them back

What the fuck does MAGAtard have to do with special needs kids? You realize MAGAtards actually say the "r-word" with glee? In fact they belittle the phrase "r-word"

Oh, haven't you heard? Eminent scholar Ann Coulter says the R-word is no longer offensive because people like her have been using it so long it's lost its shock value.
Yes, really. :cautious:

Sounds like another ascription to me.

Hold onto your pants everyone. I, hold on, I know this will shock everyone, I believe whatever gender or non-gender you feel you are inside, it’s what you are.

Very MAGA thing to say, Trump has been saying it for years! Wait…

Your first date with RebelNosoul is not off to a good start.

Is the "R" word more offensive than other condescending words? I get the N word is horrible, but how can anyone classify one word designed to demean, condescend, hurt, tear down, as more offensive than it's loose counterpart on the opposite of the political spectrum?

So what political party do you belong to?
None right now. I have voted for an equal number of Democrats and Republicans over the years. In fact although I have nothing against President Obama. I voted for his opponent both times.

But after MAGA took over the Republican Party and showed their hatred for both Senator McCain and Governor Romney, I knew I was done with the Republicans until they purge their association with MAGA.

I did good work here. You didn’t say anything offensive, wish suicide for someone, nothing mean. Just your personal facts. Thank you. I’m going to leave it here and go for a swim. Laters!

So, you find yourself more independent than left/right?

Given that Obama clearly wasn't retarded then she was metaphorically speaking.

May be if she'd referred to him as "mentally challenged", would that be acceptable?

1. People who call each other the R-word almost always mean it metaphorically. That doesn't make it OK in any way.
2. No, "mentally challenged" would not be acceptable, and the fact that she said she knew Obama is not mentally challenged doesn't make it any more acceptable.

I don't see how those two words are "counterparts" in any way. I also don't see how degrees of offensiveness matter; both words are totally inappropriate under almost all circumstances.

All I'm saying is, abusive and hurtful language and labels are used by all. It's terrible to witness. One side defends the use of this word, the other defends that word.... Why? Just, why? Maybe I'm just getting stupid as I age, but what happened to debate? What happened to, I may not agree with you but I'll defend your right to have your own opinion? It's so disheartening to see where politics have devolved. No longer is there constructive debate. It's all about scoring a point for your "team" and that's non-exclusive to party affiliation. Back to the point, each side justifies the use of offensive terminology and words because....the other guys. That's no justification. That derision that sets no goals, accomplishes no feats. It's just plain sad to see. Everyone who partakes in political animosity is only fueling the engines of the political class so they can continue to extort from.us whatever they can to enrich their pockets. That's the only nonpartisan thing I believe they agree upon.

Nope. She called Obama the R-word after a debate in 2012, and that (plus the fact that she knew he isn't really retarded) was her justification for it.
