Actually, $4.6 trillion in higher taxes is a lot. You’re on record as an advocate of more taxes.Incorrect. Democrats didn’t vote for anything. They voted against the Clown Show bill.

Show your work.
That's what Republicans always say, but the fact is it's their policy of always shoveling ever more money to the rich that routinely crashes the economy. All the TCJA accomplished was that the 1% simply hoarded all that money they saved. They didn't invest the money and create jobs for everyone, like people like you always used to say, nor did they pump the money back into the economy to benefit other businesses, like the working class and poor would do if they got a windfall (because there's a lot they actually need that they're currently going without). They just put it in the bank, benefitting no one but themselves and the banks. If the TCJA individual rates expire, it will result in a $4.6 trillion tax hike. That would crush the economy and explode the deficit.
No they don't. The past 45 years have proven that again and again and again.Conservatives want real reductions that will result in real debt reduction.

The $2.4 trillion over ten years is a CBO estimate based on static analysis. We’ve seen this flaws in that methodology before. Most recently in the aftermath of the TCJA. CBO projections proved to be way off.
But the GOP’s 2017 tax law was not, in fact, a significant driver of economic growth and came nowhere close to growing the economy by an amount that would have offset its deficit additions.
The law grew the economy by 0.2 percent in 2018, according to the CBO, which was the year following the tax law change when the effects would have been most pronounced. In order to offset its deficit additions, it would have needed to grow the economy by 6.7 percent, according to the Congressional Research Service — more than an order of magnitude larger than what it actually did.
How drunk were you when you posted this?Musk is angry that EV credits are going away. He’ll have to accept it. The bill is going to pass.
How drunk were you when you posted this?
Elmo has opposed EV credits since 2024.
That's hardly news.
[the Medal of Freedom]...Who's next to get one under the second Trump administration? I think [one for] Musk is unlikely. I believe he might have fallen out of favor with Trump by then.![]()
it's insane that your comment eliminated half of the voters. It was obvious this clash of personalities was inevitable to anyone with two brain cells to rub together. But it's still delightful to watch happen.
Any minute now, the MAGA pundits will be demanding the cancellation of Musk’s many contracts with the government.
I wonder how long it will be until the MAGA sheep turn against Musk? Elon has committed the sin of criticizing Trump, and that cannot stand.
If the MAGA sheep boycott Tesla and Xitter, Musk won’t have any customers left to fleece.

will rfk jnr be his wingman?
why decommissioning the dragon spacecraft is important:
The Dragon spacecraft is a private spacecraft designed to carry seven astronauts on missions to and from low-Earth orbit. It is a crewed version of the robotic Dragon spacecraft developed by SpaceX. The spacecraft is capable of carrying up to 7 passengers to and from Earth orbit, and beyond. It is the only spacecraft currently flying that is capable of returning significant amounts of cargo to Earth, and is the first private spacecraft to take humans to the space station. Dragon is a free-flying, reusable spacecraft developed using the best of 21st century technology by SpaceX under NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) program.
they could never happily co-exist so long as musk didn't continually bow down to trump. It was inevitable.I was wrong. Trump threatened to cancel Musk’s contracts without any prodding from MAGA pundits.![]()
would that be the same 'electric cars' trump was hawking to the public on the White House lawn???"Elon was 'wearing thin,' I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!" the president wrote in another post.
