Thanks for the share!
My paternal grandmother's name will probably ring a bell with you...
Pendleton... they go back to the Revolutionary War and the CW (or the War of Northern Aggression, as we still refer to it.)
I wasn’t going to offend our Northern neighbors but yes…🤣. WOW! A Pendleton. Being Army I was never there, but my crew this week is a Marine who spent time there. I think all Marines do at one point! What a legacy!

Go home day for me today. Easy “hitch” this week as Boat says! Man, 28 day “tours” as we call it. Haven’t done those kinds in years. Stay sane out there Boat, we’re sending our best wishes.

Oh, you poor Greylag!🫂🫂 You know what I'm going to say!

Good handwashing.

Drink lots of fluids but don't drink only water. You will need electrolytes/salts. So drink tea, broth, Gatorade.

Eating isn't really that important. Eat what you can but don't force yourself to eat. Eat lightly. Broth. Soups.

Rest. Rest lots. You're always so busy. And, for the sake of all that is holy, do NOT go out anywhere and spread your germs!

Stay warm. You might have a fever alternating with chills. Warm showers, baths. You may need an extra blanket. But don't overheat yourself.

Feel free to DM me if you have questions or concerns. I'm on call while Miss K is on her trip! 💞
@Lilianna23 I am so fortunate to have you on call ... thanks for the advice and I promise to

Stunningly beautiful!

Lol... yeah, I hope I didn't offend any of our northern friends as well!

Sincere Thanks for the best wishes!... I get off Thursday, but have a thousand mile drive after that.

Good morning all. Yesterday was a good one with a good call with my sister as my BIL is doing better. They are recovering from RSV too. So, I’m delaying my visit until they are well.

I had lunch downtown outdoors with friends. The weather was wonderful and company enjoyable.

This morning I am taxing my grandchildren. I’m also doing stretches for my back as I have some pain there. Aging is a pain but better than the alternative!

Have a good day.
And a good day to you as well!

Also wishing a speedy recovery for your sister and BIL!

Attn nurses: medical advice needed.

My wife had a massage on Saturday, and ever since then, her bicep is aching like crazy. She’s very sensitive to stuff like that, and the pain is not very much during the day while she was working.

But at night, it’s unbearable and she can’t sleep. Every time she moves her arm it’s very painful. She never takes medicine and last night she even took a Tylenol, but it didn’t seem to help.

We are trying a warm compress today, but like I said during the day, it doesn’t really hurt, it’s only at night when her arm is in a neutral position. It kept her up the better part of the last three nights.

I've been going at it fairly "lightly" myself! Lol...
You might appreciate this story.

Yesterday, I tried for a little range therapy and was plinking at about 90 yards with a 22 caliber rifle. At 50 yards I can get really tight groupings, but at 90 I was all over the place (even using a scope).

I’m reloading my magazines when a deer literally walks right across my range at 50 yards! It’s not off-season, but I only had a 22. The deer was not all that large, but that was not the right weapon for it, so it could potentially be cruel. And of course it’s illegal.

I mean, three minutes earlier I was blasting away, hitting all of the gongs, making all kinds of noise and this deer just happens to come right into the area!

I gave it a warning shot and it came even closer! Wise up deer! Eventually, it went scampering off, but not till it realized it was about 20 feet from me by the end!

Hard to do but a slight muscle or tendon tear from over kneading/stretching. Increase animal protein for building blocks, animal fat for increased brain and gland chemicals and collagen (gristle) for increased tendon recovery.

That's my non-professional, uneducated, only-heard-over-the-internet opinion.

Sprinkle with salt.

Fix the lady a steak dinner.

I’d like to give this a love and a laugh emoji. The only thing left is live, I guess!

Live laugh love! 🤮😂

Thanks Dr mitt! I made super burger for dinner last night. (Meatloaf made into burger, patties, and grilled on the grill.) Does that count?

That's awesome!
Somewhere, I have a video of a nice sized buck, who walked up to the patio, wanting to get into my Wife's pepper plants... She's trying to run it off (verbally) but the deer just looked at Her as if it were saying "Whut... I just want a few bites?"
🤣

This is my go-to on ANY fresh tissue injury!
I gave mine to a lady on my dive boat, when I saw her with an elbow brace on... after almost a week, she canceled her orthopedic appointment!
