Caught up at last...
Now comes the memory test for all my reactions across the course of the day
Was stood up for a date once in college. Taught me to set better boundaries.
Would gladly take annoying but painless vision in trade
dynamic language... and lexicon is another personal fave*

on those littles!!
Eyes on the prize... start the vacation countdown tomorrow
It was a bit stronger than I was used to, but I don't have a sweet tooth and take my "coffee" black. I was young enough at the time not to know how many different types of "coffee" there are in the world. I always thought it was black, cream, sugar, or "kiddie coffee" (i.e. both cream and sugar)
Oh, Rj... I am so sorry!! I dearly hope they get it under control soon and stabilized!!
Hope you get some answers and a treatment plan, B2

Same. Being on the receiving end of both... not a fan.I've never ghosted or stood up anyone. I think it's incredibly rude.

I think there are some in the café that would be in agreementStraight up blunt is a BEAUTIFUL character trait IMHO!
Trade you for the nauseaOh, ugh, W!That would make me crazy(er)!

The line for the recipe is around the block for this one, LiliBusy girl! I made some blueberry pie bars this weekend with fresh blueberries.

Woot! Win column!!!Yes Ma'am.
I'm down to single digits though!

Love the backstory hereI live in Dunedin FL. It has a bit of Scottish heritage and you can see lots of kilts.

Love that you have a window for success with meds... and that you know your windowIf it gets meds in with the sparkles I can usually manage the migraine

Everyone I know crushing retirement says that's key... stay busyFor sure. That is the idea that I will restore my Torino when I retire and work on the farm.
Gotta stay busy!
Lovely - enjoy every minute!!I've got three days off and I want to do a picnic at the beach on the reservoir. Maybe cook some some burgers and hotdogs on one of the grills. Let the kids play in the swimming area and grab some sun.

Family's complicated...Spending time with my grandchildren makes everything right with the world.
Spending time with some other relatives, not so much.

lots of rain here too... hopefully putting out wildfires and hydrating plants/flowers....and now it's raining. Bleh!
Happy Tuesday. My “real” Monday starts tomorrow…then after this next week it’s vacation!

Love that POV... I most certainly did not feel that way when Mon/Tues was my weekendI skipped Monday. It’s my superpower.
I had authentic Turkish coffee one night in London. Knew nothing about it at the time. I declined the sugar - and got lots of weird looks.Hot Turkish coffee, my semiannual pipe, cool morning on the patio....Playing with my router - not a euphemism. Ahhhhhh

I'm curious where you heard "SWhoMBO" used before. I heard it on the British TV show Rumpole
Hahaha! I remember Rumpole! Either our PBS station used to show it or it was in syndication/rotation on one of the BBC’s we watched while living in Europe!
Love it - I'm a Yank... we have loads of pronunciation fun with my Southern SIL and with my cousins in BostonHillbilly word of the day: sword.
I coulda sword there wuz a O'Reilly's near here but I wuz wrong. There's only uh AutoZone.
(You have to sound the "w" when you pronounce it)
Hello Spooner's
Lady K is well. But me? Blood pressure is 178/90 and I'm coughing up blood with frequent nose bleeds. Lady K sent me to the hospital this morning. I've got extremely high blood pressure and they're keeping me overnight while they do tests on me to try to control it. I'll keep everyone updated. The annoying nurse's are trying to give me hourly sleeping pills because I talk to much...

Anything she wants... woman's got skillz!!Wait, what EXACTLY do you do with your claws and 3AM zoomies?![]()
annoying but thinking that was a good thing given where you landed???I was stood up on the very first blind date I was supposed to go on (it the last one I tried!). I drove hours to get there. Was not pleased...
My doctor has referred me to my ophthalmologist for another opinion on the intermittent blurred vision in one eye. She is pretty sure it’s not from sinus pressure. I am calling tomorrow for an appointment.

Remember, sun’s out, buns out!
Boring is good... I've had "not dull"... don't recommendIt’s good, not to have dull moments, in my opinion, although downtime isn’t a bad thing either

Plot twist turns this into a HAE Day w/ the Mrs.Ruined day. Lots of couch time with the Mrs. Mitt tho.
