So today I went out and there were 2 iris snapped off and laying in the yard.... the stalks were all upright and they were fresh.... did some sob come in my yard and snap off a flower and throw it down?.

If so let me catch them....

Well… I started at 7 today. My last meeting wrapped right around 4:30. I wrapped up a few things, set my timer on my phone for 20 mins and took a quick snooze!

Yeah... it was just the flower and I saw no nibble marks.... like if I were to dead head the plant... weird

Alas, I've had professional massage therapists work on me, then refund my money. I'm so ticklish that massages put more knot in than they remove.

Today I have an iron infusion to correct my low ferritin numbers. I really hope I don’t have to be sitting for 4 hours. I think it will be worth it. I’m taking books and magazines for boredom and snacks. One of many issues as we get older is anemia and iron.

The temperature is going up to the 80s this week. Yesterday was the best day, a cool breeze and 75.

It's only been in the 60s for the past few days here.

OK! Life is good again. I went to get blood test, took coffee along in a preheated travel mug. I had coffee as soon as I walked out of the lab. I stopped into Dunkin!

Speaking of Brandy…I have an Armenian friend in LA that gave me a bottle of Armenian Brandy and Pomegranate wine! Now I just have to find a way to smuggle it back home…

Who knew Korbel was in the Brandy biz? I’ve always seen their Champagne but nothing else. Made in Wisconsin by any chance? Never been a big brandy drinker but excited to try this.

Back to the east coast today. Heading to DeeCee to tell them politicians the what for! If’n I ran this mans army…

Oh dear, it’s Monday for the rest of the world. Get back to work or get on with working hard at nothing all day…I”m in the later camp!

Some of you may remember last year I posted about a group I get involved with passing on outdoor skills to children. Well, Saturday was the annual event in hot sun so more tiring than ever as four of us taught 75 people to tie their first fly of which all but ten were children from five years old. That was a tiring but rewarding 5 hours.

I bet it was fun, G! What a great guy you are to do this!

I don't mind the fasting but when they changed the rules for no black coffee either? That's when fasting for lab work got sad.

I've been on the brink of anemia my entire adult life. When I remember, I use a Lucky Iron Fish since most dietary sources of iron are on my food sensitivity list.

That's usually a migraine "tell" for me... have you turned off the blue light on the device? Many have that in the settings now. Sometimes under accessibility features

It's big in the Midwest. I knew it as a Brandy long before I ever saw Korbel Champagne (was never a champagne drinker)

I've seen nails like this. They would drive me nuts, tho. If I have even a small piece of glitter sticking up, it needs to be filed smooth then another layer of topcoat.

When I was getting ready to retire, I put my remaining work days on the year wall calendar in my office!
