Democrats Biggest Fear

^^^^^^^^^^^
Idiots decrying the effectiveness of socialism while sitting on their fat asses watching the NFL draft and eagerly anticipating the start of the upcoming season of the league showcasing America’s most popular sport. 🙄

The democraps are now in the cat birds seat. trump does all the work for them. He will screw things up so bad all the dems will have to do is point and laugh. BUT as long as they keep running women for the Executive Branch and being the champion of the alphabet people above all else they will lose. The alphabet people are not that big a voting block, some of them are even republican't. I ONLY voted for Harris because I wanted to show I hate trump that much.

Democrats Are Terrified Trump’s Policies Are Going to Work

(Daily Signal)—Hello, this is Victor Davis Hanson for The Daily Signal. There’s been a lot of media hysteria, some ambiguous and some negative polls. We have talked about that before, that they seem to be not so disinterested as we might imagine. It’s in line with previous prejudicial polls. But here’s the main course of action that we’re all looking at.

It’s 100 days and we’re right in the middle of everything. And yet, people are already talking about President Donald Trump as if he’s failed or there’s an obituary. Nothing could be further from the truth. Don’t listen to the libertarian right or the “Never Trump” right or the hard left. What’s happening is we’re watching the most dramatic counterrevolution in our history.

This is more fundamentally changing than even the Reagan revolution that rebooted the American economy and won the Cold War. And it’s even more—I don’t know—more fundamentally transformative than the Roosevelt first 100 days when he took the country hard left with the New Deal.

And what do I mean by that? Everything is in play and we have no idea how it’s gonna happen—it’s going to turn out or what will happen. But it could be what Donald Trump called “a golden age.”

His border policy is working and his tariff policy is working. His Psyops against the media and the hapless Democrats are working as well. They don't know what the hell to do.
Neither Trump's border policy nor his tariff policies are working. They're both ongoing massive train wrecks.

Not to mention his huge DOGE shitshow.

Please explain in detail which "policies" are working.

The NFL is socialist?

For somebody be who's not a Democrat, you sure have a lot of posts about Democrats.

The NFL is socialist?

It is. To its core.

Are you a fan of the professional league of football playing? I suspect the riffraff here know this and that’s why they’re not arguing. Behind, ya know, social security and any kind of insurance, it’s the 3rd best argument for how socialism works in the real world. I hope you incorporate it in future debate.

What Americans call football is embarrassing. Using it to praise socialism is hilarious and sad.

I don't see how. NFL teams are for-profit commercial businesses. They're not civic organizations -- any team might move to another city if its owners see more profit potential there.

I tell ya what - how about a slight compromise until politruk decides to chime in.
How about you tell me how general insurance works and how social security is NOT socialism?

No, when Dems are in power, Pubs' biggest fear is that their policies will work. But that does not apply in reverse. Dems just want whatever does work to be done. Because the partisan division is not symmetrical -- since 1964, the GOP has evolved into an ideological party, while the Dems have remained a coalition of interest groups.
I notice nobody disputes any of the above.

Then you must not have read my explanation to you. I don't normally care to send a private message and this was my first ever to you so...

Look, I follow South Carolina women's basketball. GO COCKS! I have little to no interest in any of the other sporting sports, but I am pretty sure the days of a renegade owner like Al Davis are gone and NFL owners get together and collectively agree if another owner is able to uproot the team they own and move. In other words, yet another example of socialism.

LOL I am finding it funny that you, a person who is never at a shortage for engagement, is silent at my ask.
You are more than free to disagree and let me defend my own opinions.

You are saying the NFL teams cooperate and support each other so that even a town as small as Green Bay, WI, can support a team. That is admirable, but it ain't exactly socialism -- no more than the blue states subsidizing the red states is socialism.

I’m going to grant you a pass on what I feel is the slightly patronizing tone and that I granted you permission to disagree and you couldn’t openly say ‘no, it’s not’. That’s all fine. I stand by what I said and now will post to the PB the reasoning I originally shared with you.

The NFL is often compared to a socialist system due to its revenue sharing practices, salary cap, and draft rules, which aim to ensure parity and prevent any one team from gaining a dominant advantage. Specifically, the NFL's structure resembles socialism because it redistributes resources and revenue among teams to maintain a competitive balance, potentially at the expense of individual team profitability.

I want to offer an apology for my previous post. I apologize. My airing of those complaints were petty. I should have said that although I have disagreed with you in the past - I believe I gave you adequate explanations as to why. I hope that you can do the same for me going forward.

No problem, bygones.

Socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

The NFL operates as a business collective. Take out ‘political’ in the definition above and the NFL, IMO, meets all the other definitions of a functioning socialist enterprise.
