my cyan is 90% full and yet wont print in the blue. ive run all kinds of tests and cleaning stuff and still it fails. fucking SUCKS.

If you don't need color printing (I know, everybody wants color printing), get a laser printer. Not an inkjet.

I dumped inkjets long ago and replaced them with a cheap laser, and I've never regretted it. The toner cartridge is definitely more expensive than the ink cartridges, but they last forever.

If you need color printing, a color laser might work for you, but I've never owned one. You would have to do your own research.

yeah I just do occasional prints, so just getting a $150 or so printer usually is fine for me, but thanks!!!

My day: offshore India team had a holiday today and tomorrow, so my main project (ending next week for me) was slow
Went to the gym
Hung out with my dog
Worked on a puzzle a bit
Fixed my printer
Went to the grovery store
Made an Indian curry dish for dinner
Making shrimp burger type of thing tomorrow for a couple friends and we are sharing some drinks
Watched a Black Mirror and some Graham Norton
Worked on the Srverance thing for my mom

Kit, Inkjets are like needy exes, if you don’t give them regular attention, they dry up and get all dramatic. A laser printer’s more your speed: low-maintenance, reliable, and doesn’t throw a tantrum if you go a few weeks without checking in. 😉

As an Indian I am curious what sort of work do you hand over to them??
 
It's a public holiday in the UK this weekend. So wishing you all a good weekend from over the pond. We have been blessed with some lovely warm and sunny weather, so I hope that continues.
@LilKitKat that means you too. You keep us guys and girl entertained from dawn till dusk, almost 24/7. Take it easy folks x

So, the primary developers are offshore. Our scrum master is also offshore. We have an onshore (USA/Canada) team that are usually the principal/technical architects, and then offshore is usually the developers, some QA, etc.

This is what I have noticed about our offshore team and you can tell me if you feel this is a cultural thing or what:

-They are super knowledgeable and get their shit done, no matter what
-They are extremely quiet unless they are one of the "senior" developers. Even when saying good morning or thank you so much, they rarely say a fucking peep. Not sure if this is caste system based or just defering to the "spokesperson" of the group or just "senior" devs respond
-If they are assigned 24 hours on this project for a week, theyll turn in timecards saying 24. Never 26.5 and never 20.5 etc...whetgher they work 24 or not, they turn in a timecard saying 24.

Yeah except I dont like Miami much...maybe because its new, I dunno, Miami is just...not my speed...for numerous reasons and I dont want to get political (which are some but not all the reasons). For some reason I like the Vegas track more even though itd be a horrific event to attend I think (couldnt see shit I am guessing because of all the huge hotels in the way) and most street circuits are not my fave.

I'm with you on not favoring the street circuits. But I am still looking forward to this weekend's race, and sprint. Should be fun. Go McLaren!

I think barring a collapse, McLaren is going to run away with it all, at least until summer break and more upgrades are released, but by then McLaren should be way ahead.
I just hope Ferrari can make up some lost time/points...the double penalty a few weeks ago hurt bad.
