Had my annual review earlier this week and was told I had brought in and processed 1.7 million so far this fiscal year, had brought in 40k in appeals and had less than 1% in billing errors. So my big Army boss brought us donuts!



**I love me a donut but I appreciate the 40 hours of time off more lol

***oh and I know these are small numbers but this is a small Army hospital and when I started in 2021 we only brought in about 40k a year…

I bill commercial insurance (Aetna, Blue Cross, etc) and that money makes up for anything over budget. The military health system is trying to be more like civilian health systems and making a profit.
