Yesterday was pretty warm. But it froze hard last night. Even the running water froze on top. Always like the crusty topped streams.

Well…it was a mere twenty-eight years ago, I remember it like yesterday. A German nurse handed me a little bundle of joy the stork flew in and in her very thick Teutonic accent said “here is your son.” Then turned on her heel and left me. The wife had an emergency C-section so I was left with a new baby…no instruction manual, and countless thoughts racing through my head. . Happy Birthday D!

We took him home (three or four days later) with this CD on the car system…

I heard this has been the longest windiest spring we’ve had in the US in 50 yrs?!. I can attest. I hate wind. Especially if it’s cold…

Made it home, ready for an Easter Feast. Momma already working on all the details. Will probably take her to church on Sunday…my biannual visit …or as they say…a Poinsettia/Lilly Christian . It counts…right?

I always made it a point to outwork the little heathens because I could. Sheer indomitable force of will. As I remind the weasels, I get more done by 10AM on Monday morning than they will for the entire week. Most have no idea how that's even possible.


I may exaggerate slightly.


But it's fucking slight.

I will never say I am the hardest worker, cuz to me knowing when to give 110% and when 90 or even 80% is ok.

Sometimes the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. Sometimes it is!

All three of my bosses (Mrs. Wonderer, and the two bosses I have at work), know what I’m capable of doing and appreciate what I can bring to the table.

But when I get locked in. If it’s important. Or a deadline looming?

I open my education tracker and low and behold there is a date for planned education for one of my assigned providers....huh?? I say
So I go to teams and say..... there is a date by one of my providers...... I did not schedule that and the only this that the provider required due to our escalation process was an email. Does anyone know anything about that? The response was that's probably one of the floats invited to the Dublin education is it Shawn P. I say yes for Stringtown Road that is where I got it from. That is my practice and my provider. So their response I get was yeah she floats all over you can take it out if you want but I added it to all three of the float providers that were on the list. So my question was "were the other two required to get emails with read receipts or?" So her response was I think all three only had one occurrence but I'm not sure I think the other two were Jen's, (who is another coworker) either way they were all invited to the Dublin education no matter how many they had some invited didn't have any occurrences. I said okay. And then instead of saying, "don't f****** do it again. I'll take care of my providers and I'll reach out if I need your help because we need to follow the escalation plan and the standard work document that has already been written and Rewritten". I said I don't think it is a bad idea to invite the float providers to do in person since they move around so much but if they only require an email this time and they also get face-to-face what is the next step if we don't see Improvement at our next poll of data. According to our escalation process at that point they have received two levels of education and email and an in person it might be an opportunity to talk through it next time. And her response was "good thought I let Julia include whoever she wanted in the education, she is the practice manager or something, so I'm happy to follow up with the float providers next time if needed also". No what I need you to do is not try to stomp all over everybody's f****** feet every time you turn around. You do your work the way you want to do it. If it affects other people you discuss it with them before you go all Hog Wild and piss people i.e. me off. I don't need anybody to do my work for me I handle my providers. And another thing so Julia, who doesn't know our provess, decides what we do for our process? She has this relationship with this person so she's like wants to be helpful, but it has nothing to do with the process that's already been set up. I don't want to be a hard ass but give me a break..... these fucking people

I love the colors this time of year.

Ours are white. Although some of that is melting. Couple days it will be all brown out there!
FYI, no pussy willow yet. Maybe soon. We have some rain on the way. But weather is saying more snow yet!
