The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Finally, I have caught up! I started late tonight. I was on a call with a dear friend who helped me with something called a "cotter pin." It looks a bit like a bobby pin.

My PINK wheelbarrow was delivered today. Of course, I was excited to see it. The box looked smallish; when I opened it, I realized I would have to assemble the wheelbarrow! I did really well until the last part, putting on the wheels. It said to put the "cotter pin" through the hole on the axle. I did, but it fell out. I was going to call my boat guy tomorrow to see if he could tell me how to make it work. My wonderful friend had me go to the garage, put the camera on the assembly, and told me how to make the cotter pin work. Now I know what the needle nose pliers were for! I was supposed to twist the ends of the pin around them. 🤣🤣

So here I am, past curfew, but with a functioning really cute wheelbarrow!

I'm heading to bed so I can mow my back yard when I get up. I also need to start on my taxes. It's a crap shoot whether I pay or get paid. 🙄😬

Enjoy Sunday, everyone! 💖✨💝

Wow....19k...

Parts and labor?

It is a piece of machinery to be admired ..but you know me vroom vroom

I feel like the Franken motor guys just wanted to test the market....

Installation not included on the Hemi. There would be all manner of work-arounds and sich to make it go into almost anything. The beauty of the new 426 is that it weighs 100 pounds less than the mid-60s 426. That's a lot.

I think that the Frankenmotor guys have a difficult member of Teh Kids who thinks that Dad's Shit is made of platinum or whatever and it worth a fortune. At that pricing, it's really made out of Unobtainium if there's no cash-in-hand market for it.

Oh no... that reminds me I have 2, maybe 3, pints in cold storage :ROFLMAO:

Wat, she’s not just calling you—she’s summoning you with the same childlike chaos that devoured a whole zoo. Beware… sounds like you're next on the snack list. 🐘🦁🍪

It does, doesn't it?

They're making good progress. Such good doggies 🥰🥰🥰

Very clean... is $19k a good price?
I know nothing about motors except to follow your maintenance schedule, check all your fluids, and be nice to your mechanic.
One question - is the front supposed to look like it was sourced from a film projectors?

Frankenmotor is an engineering project, so New in that sense.

The Hemi is New as in, never been anything past built. So, new.

Literally yesterday morning I told my wife, “the cat hasn’t found one mouse in the house all year!”

When he does, it inevitably ends up in our bedroom where he brings it and plays with it. It’s annoyance and is always at night. Sometimes you can hear the mouse squeaking….

Usually he finds mice in the fall or winter.

This morning at 4am????

And of course he won’t let it go. I found a small box and piece of cardboard to put it in…. But he grabbed it just as I was abt to scootch it into the box so I could put it outside….

🫤😂

Our mouse was in the afternoon, I think. I was up and at desk and the girls were on duty. And Panther was cheated/beated out of his go at the mouse.

Yesterday it rained. No farm work except to fill up the wood bins at the farmstand.

We went to Philly. My daughter is coaching an under -12 nationally ranked team in Philly at a big tournament. They are really good. But yesterday they met their match. They went 0-3 against some really good teams from Indiana, Texas and Virginia. But they played well, and each game and set was competitive.

I was proud of her and her team.

And after that we found the BEST Philly cheesesteak place. Pat’s and Gino’s on South street are the two places everyone talks abt, but anyone in the know, knows you have to go down to Passyunk ave to find the real places.

Found an amazing place tucked into a little neighborhood. Best cheesesteak I’ve ever had!!

My brother, who is quite the mimic, has a nigh-on-to-perfect Sout' Philly accent. It came from working for years with a guy who was stereotypical Sout' Philly, so he got a lot of practice.

I mowed the front yard... after I figured out how to make the mower go. I put the battery in and then the starter thingie (like the old cigarette lighters in cars), then pressed the blue button.

Nothing!!!

Read the instructions.

There's a little bar next to the handle that needs to be pulled back. I did that and it started! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Who done tole ya dat????

Silly wimminz.
