The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good morning OM (thanks for humor) and MissK and others lurking. Good evening Lilli!

Called into emergency grandpa duty this morning. Snow came last night but the roads are OK. My daughter has to deal with a low tire issue this morning. I will drive safe. I never had a parent living close to me when I had children and car issues. Somehow I managed. My kids are spoiled a bit. I have always been a better helper and caregiver than a taker.

If it turned off really cold, sometimes those tire pressure monitor thingies will show some bogus low tire readings. Toyotas seem to be touchy. The tire stores get a herd of nervous Nellie's some mornings.

I was one of those once when I wuz learnt this.

I agree. But a nervous mom with kids is not a good combination. I have always had a car that tells me the tire pressure. Most of the time the gauge does not light up until you are 10 pounds under the preferred pressure. You can still drive on it.

I remember waking up in the morning to find the tire flat! Usually it was from a nail or screw along the road.

I thought it was that the cold actually decreased the higher pressure a little bit. I could be wrong, but the only time I ever get the low pressure light on is in the middle of winter.

I even got it on a brand new car this year, I want I checked it was a little bit low (27lbs if I recall)

I think that, at the end of the day, it's a bit of both.

The truck tire leak is real.

Bitches be fixin' that one for free.

Gratis, even.

I think we all have our preferences for food, how to make the bed, how much toothpaste you can squeeze out of the tube ( she would insist on getting at least 2 more weeks out of the tube that I would have discarded).
We had a toothpaste tube incident that nearly ended in divorce!

In all fairness I should have seen those certain "lunar cycles" approaching and just backpedaled like a raccoon in headlights, but for some reason they weren't immediately obvious to this most casual observer...

Lol. I can see where I went wrong there.

MLP=My Little Pony
Tier list=sucks, ok, not bad, pretty good, excellent, must have

She listed about 30 pony characters from the TV show and we sat and ranked them from worst to first. Bare in mind that multiple ponies can occupy any ranking. It turned into a bonding moment where we did silly voices and discussed the virtues and villainess of make believe cartoon personalities like they where leaders on the world stage.

We got less than half way through when I discovered there were so many to be ranked and feined a heart attack and peeked up at her with one eye open to see if she bought it.

She didn't.
U r a great dad.....
