Me too! Except 1976. Yankees/Tigers. Went with my towns little league.
It was a magic moment.

I can walk to the Blue Jays training facility down here and we go see some of their games as well as the Phillies which is my team.
The first major league game I saw was at Yankee Stadium.
I watched a bit of the Detroit game and found myself pulling for the Tigers.

Love minor league and spring training baseball.

I went out on Lake Michigan w/ dad & 4 siblings once. Only 3 foot swells. Just the once. Turns out, I was the only one w/ "sea legs".

Decent day. Got what I wanted from property management. Got left alone by silly replacement super. Serious PM brought me my big box store account cards. Eligible to sign up for the 401K and the bitchin' big match. Had lunch with my recruiter who got me the gig, and that went nicely. The work is basically up my alley, and I've done it all before. It's like being appreciated for what is getting done. It's rather new and kinda weird. And the kids heel to when the old man growls. And when they have tossed a few tough ones at me, I actually either had the answer or was able to adapt to the situation while standing there. Busy Mind is busy.

Alive is a relative term. I'm by myself at work currently ...things should be sort of back to normalish Monday AND the new girl starts in 2 weeks so maybe things will be actually calmerish by June. Woot. Umm....there's a stress test likely in my near future but I'm sure everything is fine.

I've had one when I was younger. It is fine. Irritating to age but I'm fine.
