It's kind of like Chinese tapas. If you go to a place that does it the traditional way, there are servers going around with carts of small portions of one type of food. You flag down the servers who have the ones you want & you share with whoever you're with. Or I guess you could not share, if that's your jam. There's usually a lot of carb-y goodies to eat.

We had a phenomenal sit down Chinese restaurant a block or so away that had a run of bad luck (crappy building and landlord). Another family took over the space but word says it’s not nearly as good.

Well if we're doing Chinese, my first choice would be dim sum! Then the second choice is usually noodles of some kind. I know this is fascinating

Our area has a huge influx of Koreans and the restaurants are popping up everywhere. I really have to get to one.

And Momos is more of a Nepali way of calling it is what I have been told and it is mostly vegetarian

You DO!!! I love Korean food so much! I lived there for 2 years and must have gained about 20lbs.

My town alone is s about 20 percent Korean and New Jersey just elected a Korean-American senator, Andy Kim. He first gained attention on January 6 when after the capital was stormed when he was a congressman he was out with the maintenance workers cleaning up.

Oh, poor Brenda... I can't help but feel bad for people who don't like a lot of food because it's just so good... but to each their own and I can definitely imagine what it's like to not find most food appetizing based on the ones I really can't stomach...

We have two really great Thai places near us. One has a fantastic fish dish in spicy tamarind sauce, another has a similar sauce on chicken called Honor to the King. I’m getting excited just typing this.
