When I taught ladies self defence I advocated the use of a tube of hard mints… you can cause a lot of damage using them to strike to soft targets… no judge is going to treat them as a weapon when you are in the dock either!

I'm currently shopping for a new mower. I fired my lawn service last year and have decided to try doing it myself. I've already been to Lowe's.

Does anyone know anything about the Ego brand of mowers and yard equipment? The Lowe's guy recommended it. I want a battery-operated, self-propelled, mulching mower.

The Ego is great. Powerful and clean. No maintenance. No gas nor oil to store to keep it running. I've had one for many years. No complaints. To extend the battery life, make sure you keep it at around half charge when not in use, and recharge it fully the night before mowing.
