We have hummingbird moths where I live. Love to watch them flit from flower to flower after dark.

I've never seen one! Just googled. They're so like the birds!

Update on my partner’s daughter, she is responding well to anti viral meds and could be released today. We are waiting on test to confirm the virus. Some speculation is a reaction to exposure to Picornaviridae, aka foot and mouth disease!

How would she have encountered that? I was thinking meningitis.

I know the feeling. We had Mum on holiday last year. Itbeas where we have spent all our childhoods, where she has been going for over 70 years. We saw a friend of hers and it was a farewell. I don’t think she will make it back… Good luck when it comes @Missk_2022

Poor Mrs. Wonderer. She has to put up with immature bullshit from me all the time.

She was running late this morning and asked me to help her make a sandwich. When my kids were really little, I used to put little smiley faces or a little goofy things on the waxed paper or parchment paper I wrapped their sandwiches in.

Even when my daughter was a teen teenager and we’d make sandwiches for a volleyball tournaments, I’d put a volleyball or something cute on the waxed paper.

But Mrs. wonder gets the real wonderer treatment. She has not seen it yet. She will at lunchtime tho. What are the odds she will

My Village bought the old IGA and we are renovating it into office space and two stores and we are going to replace the front windows it's like a wall of windows with glass of course with a decorative wood trim and I told Jason that if we had the money I would like to name the building the Village Mercantile or General Store and have it like in gold with an old fashioned font. I think that would be so pretty

I love this candy from Hawaii called Mele Macs. They're macadamia nuts coated with toffee then chocolate then rolled in powdered sugar!

Love macadamia nuts, but you can keep the rest... my teeth hurt just thinking about it. (more for you)

It is a lot if work and money.... we have a mayor's court and if people can't pay Their fines we do in kind so if you owe $150 we pay you $15 an hour and you work 10 hours for The Village. So if you have any really good skills we use you to do carpentry or whatever. When it comes time to paint people will be painting if you're an electrician we have you do electrical work if you're a plumber we have you fix a toilet. Whatever. These little villages have to be very creative

This is a marvelous way to assess fines! It allows people to take care of what they owe without garnishing their wages.

There's quite a gap between strong and stubborn, I think. I will admit to being both, however, I don't believe I've ever been unreasonably stubborn. I am strong willed and need a man both strong enough and flexible enough to temper.
