The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Last couple loads* of vacation laundry before bed.
* @Wonderer67 🤨

Nowhere even close to caught up on the thread - hope all had a decent time while I was galivanting across the East Coast.

The only thing that the bunny call drew was four rather judgmental horses over to the house side of the fence line. They were all looking at me and 8 ears were pointed at me, like "Hey. h000man, what you you doing to that bunny? What's wrong with the bunny??" It's the only time I can recall ever seeing all 4 of them together united in one purpose.
Best Storytime of my day - thanks, @Wat_Tyler
I like my cooking, too.
Good thing I like mine since I'm single and living within my means (i.e. no cook on staff - heck, no staff  )
My mother is a boating snob. No one knows anything about it but her, it seems.

Her favorite story was about when the USS Missouri was stuck on the sand bar in Hampton Roads, and how she knew where that channel was since she was five.

Of course, she was piloting her father's dead-rise and not an Iowa-class battleship, but she digressed.
She sounds like a hoot. I'd love to have high tea with her or at least within earshot of her stories. :ROFLMAO:

I thought there was a waiting list for the Procrastinators Club?
Oh good. I need some time to think about joining another club.
I have a biggish mug but was admittedly irritated when I realized the biggest one that I like the most was in the dishwasher 😂....like how many times do I really want to walk into the kitchen for refills? Lol
Helps you get your steps in for the day?!?
It may be a good thing. You shouldn't sit too long so getting coffee gets you up and moving a bit. Maybe a smaller mug is better?
See?

Well - time to change the laundry around and think about bedtime.
Sweet Dreams all...

I have a pair of travel pants that have pockets like that... but my new phone is a brick. That 🤬 falls out and it really irritates me.
Agreed extremely irritating. I end up carrying the things most the time unless wearing a coat.... Sounds likea business opportunity....i like painters pants though with pocket down on the side of thigh.... But that's a pain

sounds like someone needs a Tactical Keychain Pouch or an EDC Coin Pouch with Belt Clasp??? Of course that means wearing either a belt or pants with belt loops at least. 👖

They still are to lots of people. Telly was a jumper. He belonged to a preppy girl. He got hurt - he's not the most aware critter ever - and Daddy pumped a bunch of money into his vets and into rehab. Daddy started to draw the line on the dollars hemorrhage and the spoiled little twat was heard to ask hypotheticals like, "why do they live so long?" as in, Life would be better if he'd just lie down and die. So he went to the modern equivalent of the knacker, met Calypso, and got adopted by the landlady.

I still call him Preppy. He doesn't care if I have apples.
Bitch! 🤬🤬

The twat, not Landlady!

Didn't catch up on the thread, too tired. This month is my birthday and the local movie theater offers a free bucket of popcorn if you come in during your birthday month. So I went to see "Mickey 17" tonight. By myself, sadly. There were three other people in the theater so it was quiet. Interesting movie, still absorbing some of the ideas.

Hope everyone sleeps well, coffees well, and has a great next 24 hours.

OK Nurse. Here is what they’re looking at…
Left Main Artery Score: 0 Left Anterior Descending Artery Score: 298 Left Circumflex Artery Score: 163 Right Coronary Artery Score: 59 Posterior Descending Artery Score: 0

Am I gonna make it? 😳. So diet and exercise are the most important…we all kind of know that...was just hoping for a quick fix. What about that Apple Cider/Vinegar and water mixture at night? Anything natural…I”m kind of hippy-dippy that way. Thanks for all the info.
Wife is starting to get cranky. She’s not looking forward to this.

It rained like a mini hurricane here last night! Winds and driving hard rain. Looked at my app and there was a small low pressure system sitting off the coast spinning! 😲. Thunderstorms and lighting. Odd type of weather pattern for this time of year. We did need the rain though…

Some New Mexico Hot Spring MZ…

I hope your cardiologist went over these numbers with you. Here's my 2 cents:

LM = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The left main is called the "widow maker" as it supplies 85% of the heart.

LAD = 298. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The LAD comes off the LM, runs down the front of the heart, and supplies about 50% of the heart.

Cx = 163. This is considered moderately calcified and can be concerning. The Cx comes off the LM, wraps around the left side, and supplies 25-40% of the heart. It can also supply the sinus node, also called the pacemaker of the heart, in about 30% of the population.

RCA = 59. this is considered mildly calcified. The RCA supplies most of the right side of the heart and the sinus node in up to 70% of the population.

PDA = 0. This is EXCELLENT! The PDA supplies most of the back side of the heart, along with the Cx.

I would say you have a moderate risk of a cardiac event within the next 3-5 years if there are no changes made in your lifestyle. The LAD and Cx combined can supply up to 85% of the heart's blood.

ACV has not been shown in clinical trials to reduce or eliminate calcification. Your best holistic bet is to eat clean, try to stay away from trans fats and highly processed foods. Drink 8-10 glasses of water in addition to other beverages, like coffee. Reduce your stress levels.

Exercise, outdoors, as much as possible. The sun helps our bodies make vitamin D, which can be heart helpful. DO NOT take vitamin D supplements without consulting with your providers. It is a fat soluable vitamin; you could be at risk of overdose if not managed.

Continue to f/u with your cardiologist. S/he may recommend a heart cath. Stents placed in the LAD and Cx can keep those vessels open. A heart cath has a much quicker recovery time, about one day, compared to open heart surgery (weeks).

This is the long-ish answer! I can go into more detail if you need it! 😅😅
