Ehhh, was supposed to go out last night for some drinks but in the mid-later afternoon I got sick and stayed in so I went out for pho, watched a movie "The Menu" with Ralph Fiennes, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicolas Hoult, John Leguziamo, and several others youd recognize.
I liked it, but its definitely an odd movie.
I am not 100% healthy yet but better than yesterday!
Rest up! Hope you feel better soon.

I've wanted to catch that movie, but it looks like it might creep me out, so I'm saving it for a time when it's just me. Fiennes and Taylor-Joy often give me (intentionally) creepy/off vibes (that I like) her visage and his intensity.

been awhile since I have seen The Menu but I remember enjoying it Anya Taylor-Joy has become a star loved her in Split and Glass

Ive been to Arizona a few times. It can be lovely, but there are a few reasons I could not live there, the heat being one of them for sure though.

Not fun to joke about the Calif burning down though, I have family that lost their home in January.
I love AZ to visit and will be regularly again. I am truly lost on where I want to move. I’m so sick of Da Midwest, but we have 1/5th of the fresh water and it’s pretty awesome here 8 months of the year. Sigh

Pho is amazing.
Was introduced to it by my daughter and I love it. 🥰🥰🥰

I really liked this movie, it was odd but in a fun and interesting way. It's a fun rewatch too.

the midwest isnt for me personally but to each their own in terms of what you want/need/can afford etc

I'm feeling the time change way more this morning than yesterday and I don't even really have anywhere to be today 😭

yeah its not always easy to find and when its in stock, theres usually texts that go around "so and so has pliny, sshhhhh"
Are you talking about Pliny the Younger? I've had little trouble getting my hands on Elder when I visit Northern CA. The Younger, is a different beast. Released once a year, 3+ hour lines to get your 2-4 bottle limit, etc

It was great growing up a half mile from the beach, but something new would be nice. It’s why travel is so important. I’m not totally without ideas - Noordhoek in Capetown is a like dutch San Diego, Oceanfront Property is cheap comparatively, but everyone has 10’ security walls which gave me pause. 🤓

both to be fair

Fair point, I'd probably get battered for saying it out loud over here 😅
I mean, depending on the day and occasion there's something to early drinks. But on a random Monday, with no "event" happening, if I were drinking alcohol at 9 AM you'd be spot on. And I'd be on my way to a meeting.

Nobody reads the comments.
So there, I said it. we’re just here for the pictures.
Well, that's just not true.

There are plenty of T&A threads here and elsewhere.

Reading @LilKitKat 's comments and discussions are the value-added benefits that keep me (somewhat) camped out here and checking back regularly.

It doesn't hurt that they can be both delightfully dirty and also funny
