What always amazes me is how much fresh powder just kills any sounds. You can watch a car drive down the road, but because how the snow absorbs the sound you can hardly hear it. It's just so silent in the woods too.

My mantra for many years was trust but verify. Sorry you seem to get tagged to fix everyone else’s mistakes. I’m in the same boat. I often wonder how the office would manage without me. I get a glimpse every other Friday when I’m off. I return Monday morning to a list of emails asking me to review someone’s product, trash that wasn’t taken out, and a coffee pot that was left on. I’m like WTF you are adults, act like it.

My direct manager is fucking oblivious to my concerns..... and on top I have old crazy parents...new with my dad is heart and carotid issues.... and a house that is falling down around me because I can't make enough money to fix it or can't find someone competent to do it.....
