Trump, like Hitler, has given strict orders to his troops to always be attacking, retreat is not an option.
I thought about that while watching the excellent Netflix documentary 'Surviving Black Hawk Down'. United States Army Rangers, who considered themselves 'the tip of the spear' came under devastating counterfire in Somalia. Three Black Hawk helicopters were shot down and one Ranger came to the horrifying realization that 'our entire training had been focused on 'attack attack attack'.....we were never instructed on how to retreat from a hostile situation'.
Similarly, I expect the same sort of hubris from MAGA eventually.
