The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

No offence taken. I'm a big fan of leaves in water, preferably hot and not too much milk added.
How did you get hold of my picture?
It was a famous sketch of the Heros of The British Isles and it had your name under it for single handedly holding back the Blonde Bomb Shell Riots of 2003. The caption read: "The brave Mister Kent steadfastly held the bosoms of the unruly sandy haired gang of rowdy lasses that were on their way to the Tower of London to spread.... chaos and mischief among the masses."

True story.

Look at those little white mittens

Of pain!!!

This is Ethyl when she first came inside. She's here with Geezer and she's barely bigger than he is (he's very small). The expressions that used to cross her face as she made her indoor adjustments. She paid remarkable attention to everything and missed nothing. TDK is similar.

Okay, caught up. Long damned day - pushing 12 hours. I think we have a handle on it. There was wind and rain and windy-rain, weasels, an unhappy resident, a couple of wheels, a grumpy maintenance guy, a blown fuse in a new a/c unit, and all the kinds of stuff that Wat does daily when he does this stuff.

Off to hit the rack.

I wonder what Ethyl is doing???

I remember it well.

It was all set up by Rupert Murdoch and his underlings at The Sun.

Did someone say HumpDay? Enjoy for all you at work…It’ll be the weekend before ya know it! Day one of Staycation for me. All focused on SWhoMBO…she’s getting a Bionic knee! 😀. Funny story. When she was getting her consult, the doc was like, “you wont be kneeling down in the garden weeding anymore”….she thought…”that’s not the issue!” 🤣. She can be funny when she wants…

We get that storm that delayed me getting home from Dallas yesterday. All’s well that ends well…the road is in the rear view for a bit. Spring is springing…

NM MZ…

Good luck with the surgery to your wife. Fingers crossed. Enjoy your staycation!

Pamper that little lady!!

Dear British and European thread members: Please do no panic and try to adjust your clocks this weekend. Clocks do not go forward till March 30th. I repeat, DO NOT PANIC!!
Ha! I had to reveal to Europe a few years ago the week the clocks changed there. So instead of five and six hours ahead it was 4 and five. But then I traveled from London to Germany the next week when the is clocks changed back.

It was a shitshow, time wise!

Basic addition and subtraction was all off for those two weeks.
