The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Happy Wednesday!!! We have Weather today. Looks more like a wind event with rain than the other way around. But, as usual, we'll see, because the classical Weather Rock is usually more accurate.

Baby Ethyl while still in the barn:

Reminds me of our beautiful tortoiseshell cat called Poppy, a truly loving and spiritual family member who we all miss so much.

They have an innate quality and telepathic understanding. Bunnie and Poppy would have got on well.
Bunnie could read my mind and knew just what I needed....
She got REALLY upset when she'd see my seabag, because she KNEW what that meant... but she'd always greet me at the car when I got home!
She would even talk to me on the phone, while I was at sea....

Poppy recognised the sound of my car from 100 yards away at least. Whenever I drove home, whatever time of day or night, she would run outside to welcome me home.

No offence taken. I'm a big fan of leaves in water, preferably hot and not too much milk added.
How did you get hold of my picture?
It was a famous sketch of the Heros of The British Isles and it had your name under it for single handedly holding back the Blonde Bomb Shell Riots of 2003. The caption read: "The brave Mister Kent steadfastly held the bosoms of the unruly sandy haired gang of rowdy lasses that were on their way to the Tower of London to spread.... chaos and mischief among the masses."

True story.

Look at those little white mittens

Of pain!!!

This is Ethyl when she first came inside. She's here with Geezer and she's barely bigger than he is (he's very small). The expressions that used to cross her face as she made her indoor adjustments. She paid remarkable attention to everything and missed nothing. TDK is similar.

Okay, caught up. Long damned day - pushing 12 hours. I think we have a handle on it. There was wind and rain and windy-rain, weasels, an unhappy resident, a couple of wheels, a grumpy maintenance guy, a blown fuse in a new a/c unit, and all the kinds of stuff that Wat does daily when he does this stuff.

Off to hit the rack.

I wonder what Ethyl is doing???
