Is this a handyman/contractor thing? I have the same issues with my guy. So frustrating and annoying! We're working on his communication skills but Geez Louise

🫂 hope you feel better today! Headaches are not fun at all. A quiet dark room and several cold packs are my medication of choice. Far more effective for me than anything on the market other than my botox. I don't know who made the connection between Botox and migraines but it's been completely transformative for me.

Anyone else have a petite La Cage au Folle moment there? Just me? Okay

I love talking about weight loss achievements and goals. It gets really juicy when we talk about sliding back on them and how we take responsibility for them and get right back up knowing there is no shame, only the human experience.

I lost 100 pounds last year and wanted to lose another 50 or so. I look really good in the 170 range wearing size 30's.

Then tragedy happened. The trucking industry was going through a flux and my miles were cut in half. We were struggling financially. That's when Mom was obviously going downhill enough to have us all worried.

So, I moved back "temporarily" to help out , set things straight, and ease our financial woes. Things were worse than expected when we got here.

One thing led to another and now I'm kinda stuck with no income waiting on the health care system that is fast as the speed of smell. We are rapidly running out of savings but Mom is in much better shape with her meds and doctor visits being fixed.

This whole time I've been eating my stress and gained back over 30 pounds. It's been eating at me too. This last week I've been practicing the 24 hour fasting as the diet choices are a nonstarter due to budgeting. That is seeming to work.

Coffee in the morning with nothing till dinner and I'm trying to cut back on portions. Hard to do while starving. I need more protein to stave off the hunger.

Holy Crap! Wall of text. Sorry folks.

But keep up the attempts, K. They will eventually out number the failures. And keep talking about it. Silence is a killer. All ears here.

Never be ashamed! When I went through my own weight loss (77lbs) I found it helped hold me accountable to talk about it. I also shared my failures. Weight loss is terribly hard and all successes should be celebrated, all “backslides” understood and supported. Keep up the fight and be proud of every 1/4 pound!
