jokes apart, how long does it take to review the avatar for the admin panel?

It seems like it took about a month for my first avatar to be approved. IDK why it took so long. When I switched it out for my current one, it changed immediately.

well, i have been an unregistered reader in LIT for a long time. so by reading stories, i keep getting thoughts of many things. sometimes i spend hours in the world of imagination all by myself.
then suddenly i thought, i should write them down and share as a creation. its a good way to pass free time. also a good practice for creative writing.

so i thought, why not start an account of my own so i can share those thoughts in a form of story or something. and now i am ended up here

Just popping in to give you an update. Spent all morning at an urgent care, then the pharmacy at the VA and then the lab for bloodwork (unrelated to what ails me). On a Z pack for strep and a sinus infection. Taking it easy for a few days, lots of water and vitamin C. I doubt I’ll be on much for a few days, just wanted to say “hey”.

We had a bit of a go-'round this afternoon. Our flunkies bailed on us again. They're supposed to be our hourly flunkies to do our bidding. They suck at it. I wager we don't see them again after I warmed their asses for leaving early like every other day this week. They're gonna be surprised when we don't pay them for 40 hours, too.


The HVAC crew snuck out, too, but they were a bit more subtle about it.


Wat may have subdued the electrical foreman.


Then there was the trespassing crackhead. Hmmmm. TGIF!!!

I asked my boss the other day who is responsible for the data regarding attribution and another thing that doesn't make any sense to you. There's only one person responsible for it, and no one ever questions them. I don't think he's dishonest I just think that data can show you what you want it to show that doesn't mean it's true. But since he's popular and everybody likes them and people are intimidated by his brains no one questions him. And I can't question him cuz I don't know as much as he does but I just don't understand some of the stuff he says well this metric is 80% but really it's 83% because we're not taking into consideration blah blah blah blah blah. Well if it's 80% it's 80%. I said has anybody tried to recreate the data that he obtains if no one can recreate it is it true? I'm pretty sure that my asking that question was really not appreciated. I am a little out of sorts so it's probably best to just keep my mouth shut

Statistics can say whatever the one creating them wants them to say. I always tried to be open and transparent with the data I presented.

But it was so frustrating when a C-level person asked why the data this month was different from the data last month.

"Well, because the data are fluid, not static, you dumbass!" Is what I wanted to say.

I also ask things like we're doing this process but what's after that we could send the provider a query but if they don't answer it then what doesn't matter how many queries we send if zero are answered. And then what, but the providers don't interact then what. I feel negative but like think this s*** through. Especially since this group wants to push work off onto my team that their responsible for. I straight up say no I'm not doing it hahaha. I'm sure people hate my guts but oh f****** well they don't eat at my dining table

Morning, all. I apparently forgot to activate the timer so my coffee will be a bit late. On the positive side I splurged for some locally roasted flavored coffee so the house is full of the smell of coffee when I make it.

I don't like the taste of coffee but I freaking lurve the smell! ️
