Glad you spelled Motörhead correctly! As a real Motörhead, I sure know how to appreciate this beauty
There is a reason we call them she
No. No, it's not. We still have a couple good ones coming up here...
Although today was in the 40s, which means slush in the driveway. New mail lady must not be from around here. She said she might get stuck going down the driveway. I laughed, she drove up it in a big 4wd vehicle...
Bailing out of here. Good night everyone.
I’ve no doubt that we will have some more winter, but I’m hoping and guessing we’re on the reverse slope.Isn't that the truth. I'm guessing we have another week or possibly two of really cold weather likely to hit here. This whole week is forecast for 40F or higher and a fair bit of sunshine so I'm going to enjoy every sunny day that comes.
This is exactly what happened to me!
This is exactly what happened to me!true story.
She ended up marrying him.
Yeah, was shitty at the time, but no regrets. Life throws ya lemons and ya gotta make lemonade. His loss and your gain.

Plus I met Mrs wonderer and my life has been super happy.
The only downside was not seeing my daughter as much. But we split time 50/50 post divorce. It all worked out.
Yep, don’t know if happened for a reason or if it just happened.I felt similarly when the ex remarried and moved 800 miles away. It hurt like Hell for a couple of years. In hindsight, it would have been selfish of me to have Junior stay put as it would have cheated him out of the multitude of opportunities he's had since being there. I think that it all worked out as intended.
You and the missus seem very well suited to one another.
I can relate as after my divorce I met the love of my life. After a wonderful 9 years of marriage, cancer took her life. That life’s lemon was very bitter. But it brought me even closer to my children and grandchildren. And eventually found a new life partner. We are happy together and both of us are engaged grandparents.Yeah, was shitty at the time, but no regrets. Life throws ya lemons and ya gotta make lemonade.

Finding the lemonade was hard but with determination one can make it.![]()
Suck may not a strong enough word. I remember that I had backed up my work dor the day. It was back when there were CD's that could handle all the data. It reminds me of the day I had to travel with a bunch of manuals and a suit case sized computer with a very small screen. That would suck..
Scary....They will bend to my will.
Or they will break . . . .

That sounds awful.... i work on 3 screens and if I have to work on less ...I am NOT happySuck may not a strong enough word. I remember that I had backed up my work dor the day. It goes back 40 years or so. I was a control system engineer and we were transitioning to small industrial compupers called "PCs" which stood for Programable Controllers. Then IBM came along with the Personal Computer and the industrial PC was changed to PLC which stood for Programmable Logic Controller. Time marches on!That sounds awful.... i work on 3 screens and if I have to work on less ...I am NOT happy
And flat screens did not exist. That sounds awful.... i work on 3 screens and if I have to work on less ...I am NOT happy

Exactly like that with two floppy drives. I am reminded that about that time hard drives became available and I was able to get a 30 M drive on a card. I think it was over a hundred bucks for the drive.
