The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I'm late to the game. My favorite piece of clothing is a jean jacket. It blocks the wind, I put all my pins on it, and it's ragged enough to show I really do wear it a lot.

Welcome to our little piece of lit. Glad you could make it.

We do things a bit differently here. Basically, no politics, no hitting on the women, no drama, no bullshit. Go back and read the very first post for clarity. Read the last 20 pages or so for continuity and flavouring. It does get a bit spicy sometimes, but we value our vibe and each other very very much.

If this sounds like you, please pull up a stool and make yourself at home. If not, there are half a gazillion other threads on literotica.com.

Lovely day here too after heavy rain yesterday so went fo a walk with the Management! Not the best exposure but gives a feel for my day. The river was raging through and with heavy rain forecast for tomorrow it will get worse.
Wow, that looks really intense!

Hopefully, there will be no flooding… looks like a nice day to get outside though.

Well, I been unsupervised for most of the morning while Mrs. Mitt did the taxes. Hence the second cup of coffee.

I dusted the living room from top to bottom. Not just the furniture but the walls, baseboards, paneling and crown molding too. I won't tackle another room today though. It made my allergies shift into overdrive.

Chicken pot pie tonight. Pie crust are thawing and the chicken was boiled yesterday. I made chicken enchiladas with half of it. Still a bunch left too.
Sounds super yummy!

And a clean house!

And taxes done!

We had a good and productive day.

Mrs wonderer and I split and stacked firewood. Then we went up into the woods to suspect all of our trails. A LOT of ash trees came down in the windstorm this last week. Also a few oaks.

Did some donuts with our ATV. It felt really nice and warm Altho it was only 38.

Then we cut out early and started a nice bonfire in our backyard - listened to some punk rock and drank some beer.

Tonite on MeTV is “War of the Gargantuas” one of the worst/best Japanese monster movies ever made.

Sounds like heaven! I love the bonfire and music time. Throw on a brat on a stick and a rum and coke with a splash of rumple minz and invite us over to watch stars, shoot the shit, and relax. I play a mean kazoo.

I've been poking around the Lit ORP forums. I wanted to give it a look-see. I like RPGs and the like and doing it in an adult setting as writing instead of real-time sounded fun.

I read the posting rules. Clicked on the links for tips and tricks. Read a couple of short examples. Perused the abbreviated lingo. I was ready to search for a thread to jump into.

Yeah, right.

I clicked on a thread description that mentioned a D&D type story and it was so intimidating. These peoples' story read like a Robert Jordan epic novel. Each and every contributor sounded like a Rhodes Scholar.

To be fair though, what a story! I'm going back to read it till the end. It was so good. But i felt like buffoon that had just stumbled onto a drawer of sharp knives. I had no business picking one up.

Anyone else pokes their heads into those ongoing story's? What was your impression?

I keep telling my wife that she's going to end up adopting him if she keeps petting him like she does. After all, that's how she ended up with me.

But seriously, she does not want a boy cat and is adamant about it. But then she swears she "isn't allowed to move" when he curls up on her lap and starts purring. He's even figured out how to gently nip her hands to get her to continue scratching his head when she stops

I think he has her right where he wants her.

He knows what's up! 😻😹😻

Dear @Lilianna23

You have left an English Gentleman traumatised…. So much so that after reading your post I had to take a stiff drink to recover my composure (and as you know I don’t usually indulge)

Several hours and some whiskies later I feel sufficiently recovered to reply.

If you pay attention to the photo you will see my very big, very old, gun. So big that its use for sport in the USA has been made illegal. Finding something that will sufficiently accommodate its size is impossible unless tailor made. On that basis you will need to find me someone with sufficient skills and experience to provide a bespoke solution! When you do please let me know!

I think perhaps the meaning of my remark was lost in translation. My slips are made from silk, satin, and lace providing a luxuriously comfortable experience.

I just thought your old gun might want to rest in that rather than the scratchy whatever-it-is your "gun slip" is made of! I'd be happy to donate an old one for your use. If given accurate measurements, I could probably fashion a bespoke solution for you! I'm very handsy, er... handy that way! Your very big, very old, not legal in the US gun could rest in comfort! 🤭🤭🤭

Now that the season has finished I can find time for simple stuff again. So another variation of @Lilianna23 bread recipe. This time I used both mixed nuts and pecan pieces…… and hell it is good.
I'm very glad you're enjoying the recipe, G! It's so simple but with a big payoff in taste! I hope you're trying it toasted! 😋 😋
