Today might’ve been the least memorable day ever. I got up, worked out, went to work, came home, ate dinner, watch Jeopardy, fell asleep on the couch.

It wasn’t necessarily bad…

It looks like it’s really cold. Weather will hang in for only about four or five more days here on the East Coast.

Back into the low 30s, which will seem like a heat wave, over the weekend!

My me,ory is not that good. I do remember one that my brother could not get out for a week, maybe two. He had plenty of firewood but I do not recall if he had a generator for the well pump. Down here in FL i have used the generator to keep the refridgerators and freezers going. We didn't have power for three days. Be prepared!

My husband got his first generator when we had a 4 day ice storm. He installed a transfer switch for it and showed me how to use it and start the generator. Then, he installed a whole-house generator with an automatic transfer switch, even though we haven't had that many instances when we needed it. He didn't want me to have to roll the gasoline generator out of the garage, hook it up, and start it.

The landlady called. Facetime, actually. I got to talk to the baby goat and the momma goat and Sophie the leader of the dwarf goats. I had a good chat with Telly the big red poodle. He kept trying to mouth the phone. I'm sure he was waiting for me to shove apple slices through it to him.
