The avergae American sucks on geography for sure but I find it also depends on where and how you grew up and the current educational system. Meaning, many of my friends grew up in a more cultured home that valued learning about the world, not just their city/state or even country. They traveled to Italy or Mexico or England if possible, and maybe they could not tell you the capital of Rwanda (its Kigali) but they know its in Africa at any rate. However, less affluent homes, people that didnt finish high school, whatever...geography, world cultures and history etc take a backseat to some more "practical" knowledge. I can change a tire but cant truly fix a car. Many of those types of households have peop;elt hat know everything about farms, cars, plumbing, whatever...I cant do lots of those things. However, American history and education also tends to eliminate things from textbooks because it doesnt present America as the "best country in the world!" type of stuff. So for example, when I was in...7th grade or so, the Vietnam war was I think maybe about three or four sentences in my textbook. Such a joke. The Korean war was maybe 1-2 sentences. But the Civil War, Revolutionary War, and of course, WWII showed the US as kicking ass all over. Which is partly true and lots of times not. And now the banned books here is laughable. My best friend is a techer. ANNE FRANKS DIARY is a banned book. Everything LGBTQ is banned. Most books that show any sort of wars or revolts...like HARRY POTTER books are BANNED. The US wants a nation of complete dumbasses who just think AMUUURRRIIICA!

But yeah, not being able to at least know the GENERAL area of wherer your country is and the countries that surround you and/or are more often in the news (England, Germany, Russia, Japan, China, Korea, Israel, Iran, that sort)...probably is frustrating to me and saddens me.

Wow.... That's a very eye opening insight to a crazy situation. Very similar to Russia from what we are told through our media here in the UK.

I dont necessarily agree on whatever you are implying with "touchy feely"...but definitely gloss over history and erase aspects of slavery or the holocaust and so forth.
If by touchy feely you mean using terms other than he/she...for me I dont know what the age ought to be, I dont think most kids in 3rd oir 4th grade necessarily need a different pronoun but I am also not against it per se. But I'd say most people dont really have the knowledge and experience of knowing they like boys or girls until closer to age 13...KI mean you may know when you are 5 or 8 but have ypu kissed a girl/boy then? Gone on a date? Masturbated? Know about sex? No...so Im somewhere in the area of...we may have gone a bit too far with some social awareness but the erasing of knowledge and sexuality and such is a complete disaster too...the best answer is likely closer to the middle...hence pronouns like they/them maybe around age 13?

yeah...the conservative 1950s approach to households and whats good for the youth and whatever is...well...out of touch. Its too bad because there are plenty of good people on both sides, but we are now at extremes on either side and its super polarizing here. People hate each other because they voted for Trump or Biden (now Kamala) etc.
That said, I can be guilty of it too...because so many of our values have now crept into EVERYTHING we see/do/read/watch/say, its like...(example What?! You think all kids are being taught in elementary school to be gay? 1-yer nuts/stop watching Fox and 2-yer dead to me...
So it can be tough to have conversations sometimes...gotta tiptoe around topics or whatever.
Or some people just DGAF and are proud of who they voted for and shame anyone who didnt/doesnt think like them

Chest, pubes etc get trimmed probably about once a fortnight.

Balls, they get shaved in the shower, about every 2 or 3 days, to keep them silky smooth.

I will shave the shaft and balls every few days. The pubes I trim about once a week. My chest I will shave in the summer. I don't need to shave the back. The beard I trim once a week but the neck and cheeks every other day. I trim down the taint and around the butt hole once a week as well, more so once the weather gets warm.
