Morning all. They decided to keep momma till Monday to finish her antibiotics, and my oldest was in town so I felt safe going back to work. When I checked in on her she had the whole tribe sitting by her side. Out just a couple of days and will be back home. She’s doing fine, just a lingering cough. Enjoy your Sunday. Isn’t today the 500?

Oooo, Crock-Pot meal. You have my gears turning now. I still need to meal plan for tonight. Stew, chili, BBQ, potato soup...I'll take a survey when they get up today.

UPDATE: Mild chili ladeled over rice or corn chips (Frito Pie) and tortillas.

Don't laugh but I have 2 crop pots and 2 or 3 recipe books yet I've never used any of them. They just collect dust. Mom's used them yet I sure haven't. haha.

Me, too! We have so many tall trees in our neighborhood. I love them, but when we get big winds, it's a bit scary.

You should take a look at the recipes! You can also look at some on line. Crock pot recipes are usually really easy to make and you have dinner ready when you walk in the door!

My friend called me last night. My dog LOOOOVES her because she gives her lots of treats! Well, she heard her voice on speaker and went nuts! My friend had to talk to her for a bit!

Good morning diners. On cup number 2. The temperatures are dropping and some to below zero. I will never complain about the summer heat again!

The wind chills are brutal.

I drive the grandchildren this morning. And it’s a busy week with lunches and doctor visits.
