The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I have come to terms with my mortality a couple of times but nothing nearly as impactful as that. I'm glad you made it. I am sure you buckle up now!
I do buckle up in high risk situations...
TBH, if I had been strapped into that car that night, I might've survived it, but most likely wouldn't have my left arm... That car went for one helluva ride after I got thrown out.

I hate the "Retired Life"
So boring when there's nothing to do...
It made me lazy. But I haven’t been bored yet. I stay up late and sleep late. Wish my sleep schedule would get back where I slept at night. I’d be less a procrastinator.
I treat cold weather different too. I’d rather not be out in it like I used to. Need more exorcise.
Another thing I noticed is there are the strangest things I know I put somewhere. Then when I go to use it, it’s not there.
There are enough people that know I don’t work that like to keep me busy too. Lucky I don’t mind going to the store.
If I do get to where I really can’t decide what to do I go to the grocery store and look for a deal. Then decide what to do with it or learn to cook something I’ve never had before. Having time to tinker is pretty awesome.
I honestly can’t figure out how I ever had time to work.

He taught himself coding in his teenage years despite his ADHD leading to him being labelled as "special needs". The school's idea of looking after children with "special needs" was to lock him in a classroom with his laptop. One day, understandably frustrated with the teachers, he hacked into the school system and docked their pay.
He's now a mature, married man, writing code for some major international companies, and using his ADHD as a massive super power to earn some extremely lucrative contracts.
The last piece of hacking I'm aware of was when he and his wife were in a nice country hotel lounge and wanted to listen to the TV news, which had been muted. He hacked into the hotel management system, turned up the volume for 20 minutes while they drank their coffee, then turned it back down again when they left!
He may be my hero

I’ve lived in both Alabama and Ohio, and they both have their good and bad. Bama is too damn hot and Ohio is too damn cold. There ya go! Our company HQ is in OH, so If I have to pick one over the other I can laugh hard at Wat’s joke! 😂. I’ll leave it at that. Getting the packing and charging done. Week off went waaaaay too fast. Everyone have a great day.

I hate the "Retired Life"
So boring when there's nothing to do...
After working crazy hours my whole life, and driving through crowded roads commuting into London for 35 years, I am SO glad I'm retired.

I said goodbye to a toxic job, then set about cleansing all the toxic people from my life.

I am super fit and playing more sport than ever before, and my wife and I are spending more time together than ever before (in and out of the bedroom)...

Just took he dog out. We have light snow it’s about 10 degrees.
I thought I am extremely blessed as I have nothing I have to do today other than chat with friends online. Rather than having to drive in his weather and sit in an office.

Retirement is great.

I worked in and old factory building for a few years. I don't know the correct names for it but there was a power shaft that ran down the center of the building and there were drive belts between it and equipment that needed power. There were also some old drawings that were done in ink.
I have some machines that were line shaft powered. They've since been converted to electric motors. I love old pieces of machinery with flat belt drive.
