The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I've had that happen MANY times. I think it's part of some auto save feature. I've learned to select everything then copy it, BEFORE I try to post something. That way I can refresh the page, delete the autosaved post, paste, then post again, if the previous posting fails.
Ok, now hear me out. I was trying to put into practice this very method, but I would get excited that I had stumbled upon some scholarly yet witty brain matter and would rush to post so fast that I would skip the important "save all" step.

So, this is what I need. Whenever you all see me swimming in the juices of creativity, hold my hand ( wear gloves cuz, you know...juices), and remind me to follow the script.

Yes is possible. Cdiff is pretty contagious.

She should have her own toilet if she can till she is better and get some bleach wipes or spray to clean...

HAND WASHING IS CRUCIAL

She shouldn't cook for people and if doing laundry and can use bleach...do.... washing doesn't kill c diff spores.....

Hand sanitizer doesn't kill c diff either...it is WASHING YOUR HANDS

After she rides in your car...wash it down with bleach wipes.... not bleach free clorox wipes..... real bleach wipes (if you can)
Will spraying with Lysol help? They sent her to get a C19./Flu/RSV test? Didn’t even see the doc…welll she Zoomed with him and he said he didn’t think it was C-diff….

Sometimes I hate how this app just drops my writing. I took my time to write a garden story from memories and it wouldn't post it - AND - I lost the whole thing. Imma have to come up with a way to transfer my writing so my window doesn't come out. Any hints?
Sorry if anyone answered already…

I sometimes will type in Word docs that way you can save your work every other sentence or however you like. Then you can copy and past it into this. I think that’s what you were asking?

I will do this sometimes also. Especially if I’m jumping in and out of windows to post a pic or copy and paste a quote…

still several pages behind but that's how it goes some days
partial catch up then off to lunch (aka naptime)

Oh, right... different kind of "running in mud"
I'll echo Lili and ask for the rest of the story sometime. I'm imagining something akin to Evergreen in resolving a ship that size and running mud.

I have been that resource. Even after remote controls - which invariable get misplaced... sometimes on purpose

Yeah, those device batteries and OS can be touchy. Very glad it resolved all on its own. Best kind of resolution IMO

🫂 Be gentle with yourself for a few days. Hope you feel better soon

Are you hiring? If so, drop me a DM please!
The devil you know and all that, but I would consider taking a serious look right now.

Awwe, I 😍 Eeyore. One of my favorite characters in Hundred Acre Wood. Love you, too @Missk_2022

Push mowers can be great exercise, too.
Shame yours can't be fixed cheaper/easier than buying new - but that's the "raised by Depression Era survivors" kid for ya.
Hi

It has been fixed many many times. It is like pushing a cart with no wheels. It is old old old. Like a car without power steering.

We will see what I decide to do

Well the results are in from the biopsy. Like so many other older men have the lowest grade of prostate cancer that involves watchful waiting. 😊. I see the doctor in a few weeks to go over monitoring.
How reversible is it at this point? I hope you can get on top of it in a timely manner and beat it back before it starts to be an unpleasant process. Good luck.

I have some butternut squash seeds.... how do I get them ready for outside?

When to start seeds
  • Indoors: Start seeds in early April, about six weeks before the last frost.
  • Directly outdoors: Sow seeds directly into the soil in late May or early June.
How to plant
    • Prepare the soil: Dig in well-rotted organic matter to prepare the soil.
    • Plant seeds: Plant seeds ½ to 1 inch deep into hills or rows.
    • Transplant seedlings: Harden off seedlings outdoors after the last frost and transplant them into the garden.
Why wait for the last frost

    • Butternut squash is sensitive to cold and will freeze with the slightest frost.
    • Seeds will only germinate in warm soil.
How long to grow
  • Butternut squash has a long growing season, taking around four months to mature.
