The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Morning Bar Keep,

A mug of black, engine room coffee with a toasted whole wheat English muffin, dap of butter and honey please. I'll be sitting in the same dark corner watching and listening. You have a good crowd here, and it was a pleasure meeting Mittering, Wat_Tyler, Misk_2022, Lilanna23, Wonderer67 and others.

I believe some folks might think I'm rather bashful since I haven't said much. Please, understand, I'm in my mid-seventies and have learned over the years to keep my ears open and my mouth shut. Generally, if I sit there quietly someone will say pretty much what I'm thinking, where all I have to do is smile and nod my head in agreement.

Y'all have a great day! Stay safe and stay healthy. JackStay II

Apologies if I sounded a bit abrupt yesterday. People think I'm grouchy when I'm just talking. Glad you decided to hang.

Keep an eye on @Wonderer67 and @Lilianna23 - they're trouble. Otherwise . . . enjoy!!!

There, Finally caught up! Dealing a bunch of stuff plus the bug the wife brought in. Then a migraine yesterday evening meant getting way behind!

Looks like about 3 inches of fresh powder again. I will NOT start the snowblower for that. I WILL find something else to do today. Preferably in side in the warm house!

Greetings again...
This was hilarious! I love signs like these. Would have loved to drive past the "Slow Down" sign while certain older family members were still with us - just to see their reactions. :ROFLMAO:
I am about to burst our bubbles...the rodent in pa predicted 6 more weeks of winter.....
I'll take the hit for this one. While I didn't want 6 more weeks of winter, I did request additional precipitation. So far, I must say I am disappointed. We'll see what the balance of the 6 weeks brings. Forecast is saying an inch tomorrow - I'll believe it when I see it. False promised the last 6 forecasts. Beginning to think they've been hiring from the Boys Who Cry Wolf Club around here.

Yes. For the most part, the reaction emojis are great. Would like a few additions - confused, nauseated, and maybe the sarcastic eyebrow?? But overall they do a good job when no additional wordage is needed.
Welcome back, btw.
Some people eat them!
Thank you for the offer. Please make note for inventory - there is no reason to include me in planning for any menu items with this ingredient. Thank you.
RL has been a lot of fun. 🤪
Good!! So glad to see you pop in for a quick hello and happy to hear RL is treating you well!!
The ones I hate are when the wife wakes up mad at me...
Like, serously? I didn't do it for real, in real life! 🤷‍♂️
Oh no! Those realistic dreams can be really hard to shake sometimes!! Hope your dream self didn't get up to too much trouble. 🤭
