Good Luck
You'll be fine ... there's only seagulls and immigrants on the beach this time of yearoff to the seaside tomorrow. wish me luck
I've recently returned from a trip to Brighton. I was warned about bummers on the beach. LolI have no problem with gulls or immigrants
Did you see the Starlings?I've recently returned from a trip to Brighton. I was warned about bummers on the beach. Lol
I was with a friend listening to the pretty song of a robin. He then pointed out that in robin speak, he was saying "Oi!Oi! My fucking manor! You want some, eh? You fucking want some? Come over and shag my missus - I'll have your fucking head off, son. Oi! Oi! I'm the fucking king!"There's a pair of robins in my garden.
They are very territorial. We had a nesting pair in our shrubbery last year. I don't know if they return to the same nest.I was with a friend listening to the pretty song of a robin. This might be a little triggering but they only live for about two yearsThey are very territorial. We had a nesting pair in our shrubbery last year. I don't know if they return to the same nest.

I've watched two male blackbirds sparring for territory for weeks in our garden. I'm beginning to suspect it might be a bromance or they're simply hopping about like chess pieces to keep warm.they usually hold a territory... often male and female will hold neighbouring ones and fight, until it's mating season, then combine territories.
i have had a male robin take food from my hand and fly to the mate and feed her... it's part of the courtship that he feeds her. pretty sure they named one of the chicks after me.
No. The wind was ferocious, so didn't see much at all!Did you see the Starlings?
