You are right, it is on the colder side here in Toronto where my home is this week.

Out of pure curiosity, what is the colour of the soft thrown you bring along.

Happy Wednesday!!! Up a bit too early, but what else is new? Still adjusting back to the whole working-on-the-road thing.


Got tossed to the wolves first day out. My direct supervisor is laid low with flu. So, Wat had to rely on previous experience. Good thing there is some. The carpentry subcontractor boss man was out yesterday so we could get going. We seemed to hit it off well enough to get a good chunk of work done yesterday. Seems he's been working for this outfit for awhile. That usually means decent things.


Last workday of the week. Wat has that Irish guy to go see come Friday.

Supervisor out with the flu huh? Perfect time to give yourself a 2 ... Well, 5 ... Oh, what the hell, 15% raise. Don't forget your palls either. Give them all another two weeks vacation while your at it. Just think, You'll be the Bell of the Ball in the unemployment line.

I use mayo. Qnd 8 doctor it up with salt pepper onion and garlic powder qnd a splash of pickle juice. I add celery and a little onion too...yum

...and a couple of salted tomato slices and provolone or Swiss cheese on top.

We are in a snow deficit. Lots of "too cold to snow" days and not enough snow days. Today was a rare 40F day but still no snow.

The cold does get to be a bit much. I'm not a fan of driving in a wintry mess, but we definitely need more snow.

Yes, a good snow cover or the equivalent in rain is very important. In the east, we finally got enough rain and water to break the drought, but it’s actually been pretty dry for the last few weeks.

They are both whisky. They use difference grains and aging processes.

I think too, that there are a lot of technical things about whiskey. It has to be a certain amount, corn or rye or something, and it has to be made in Bourbon County Kentucky.

Whenever I work in Cincinnati, I fly into Covington airport, which is in Kentucky. Always like to bring home a bottle.

How do you make your tuna salad? I've seen recipes using plain greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. I haven't tried this yet.

I just made chicken salad and tuna salad (I totally overcooked two really nice tuna steaks I night by accident - very dry…)

I add in chopped onions, chopped celery, and sometimes a little bit of chopped carrot. Mayonnaise and a bit of salt and pepper.

I just made chicken salad and tuna salad (I totally overcooked two really nice tuna steaks I night by accident - very dry…)

I add in chopped onions, chopped celery, and sometimes a little bit of chopped carrot. Mayonnaise and a bit of salt and pepper.

Sometimes I use a little celery seed....... I live celery esp the leaves

I made chicken salad one time and used the leaves too with grapes and cashews etc....

At the bottom of the bowl were a few grapes celery leaves and my mayo mix and it was sooooo delicious...who knew celery and grapes were so good together

So...yesterday's house drama

Taking down a mirror to paint. Was gonna spray outside ...almost fell.down steps.. dropped the mirror and broke it....

Then went to paint all the little touch ups.... when the paint dried it.is a shade lighter...... I knew that girl at the age hardware was distracted...... sigh.... I have a tiny sample size that is pretty full that should work to cover the light spots.

I shall persevere

Sorry guys, I am not keeping up very well with this thread the last few days. Very busy with work.

My processed sugar and flour fast is going well. I had blueberries and apples this morning for breakfast, and I can really taste the sugar, which makes me know that it’s starting to work.
