Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Michael J Fox & Joan Jett - Light Of Day

This song (when Joan is on it) make my heart sing and makes me cry (usually)... I'm such a dork! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well (Pt. 1)

A million years ago, I moved to a small town and my neighbor turned out to be a co-worker. And he had this album on vinyl. I always thought it was really cool, but only learned part of it because that was all the radio station played. When I heard the full album version? I thought the radio station was wise... because there (to me) was absolutely nothing cool or interesting about the song after in changed.

Just saying.. part of part one? F-ing smoking cool! after that? Lame as a dog with no legs. As dull as a pencil with no lead.

I know what you were thinking... why aren't the Canadians making me feel better? They do, always. @TANSTAAFL58 makes sure of it. And Rik Emmett is one of my hero's ... f-ing amazing!

Triumph - Fight The Good Fight
Not only did Triumph play at my high school in 1975 or 76, so did the these guys...the Stampeders. The lead guitarist, Rich Dodson had a stainless steel Strat (I can't find a video 😫).

Speaking of Canadian bands who recorded with Wolfman Jack, the Guess Who, Clap for the Wolfman:

Sadly, recorded after Randy Bachman left the group. Kurt Wnter is a good guitarist, but no where near Randy's level.

Brenda!!! Thank GOD!!!!!! My PC went down around Christmas and I had to wait this long for a damn part. When it got fixed, I had lost all my favorite web sites!!!! I have been looking for you and looking for you. WOW I am now a happy camper.

She is pretty... Maybe she has talent… I don’t know, don’t care… too new… please never post her again here… she is not classic yet… way too young… I have tights older than she is…. my bass strings are older than she is…. No disrespect meant to Taylor, but that is not even remotely what this thread is about. In fact, I would say, if it was recorded in her lifetime, it does not belong on this thread.
Amen!!

Sorry catching up on all I missed. I'm on page 150!! Long way to go. Here's a song I loved dancing to but I never hear it any more.

Rock This Place by The Fabulous Thunderbirds

I feel like Captain and Tennille kind of took over this song when they had a hit with it. But this version is so much better. Smokey's vocals are so good!!!!
