MAGA Congressman Believes Aliens Have Underwater Bases on Earth

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" (sometimes shortened to ECREE),[1] also known as the Sagan standard, is an aphorism popularized by science communicator Carl Sagan. He used the phrase in his 1979 book Broca's Brain and the 1980 television program Cosmos. It has been described as fundamental to the scientific method and is regarded as encapsulating the basic principles of scientific skepticism.

I think it is likely that advanced civilizations exist on other planets. I am surprised that scientists have not detected radio broadcasts from them yet. Nevertheless, the vastness of the universe and the finite nature of the speed of light impose limits on space travel.

Read the OP, dip shit. The Congressman believes outer space aliens have bases.on earth, under water. That is what this thread is about.
Despite your religious beliefs and common sense, you have no actual proof they don't exist. In the 16th century, common sense suggested the Earth was flat because it "looked" that way. Common sense relies on preconceived notions and can reinforce biases rather than question them.

Yes...common sense is that aliens from outer space live underwater because of God

Really selling that well 👍🤣

I saw an interview or maybe just read an interview with Hawking once. The biggest take from it was, if Little Green men come a call’n…it WILL NOT be for virtuous reasons.

Maybe we need a visitation…it may be the one thing that could bring us al together.

One has to admit that mathematics and the law of probabilities support it. While we don’t yet have direct evidence of extraterrestrial life, mathematics and probabilities strongly support the idea that life elsewhere is highly plausible. The size of the universe and the abundance of potentially habitable worlds make it statistically improbable that Earth is the only planet with life. The question remains: Will we ever find conclusive proof? Scientists have estimated the existence of 200 billion galaxies, each with billions or trillions of stars, any of which could have orbiting planets that support life.

Your preconceived notions are narrow and stunted.
I've never said aliens in outer****** don't exist.

They don't exist in our ocean.

If you need to defend an idiot because you agree with the R by his name.....that's your issue.

That's not it at all. It's your "unfounded" flat statement, "They don't exist in our ocean" which is not based on any absolute proof that's at issue. You think they're not there but you don't know that for a fact. I don't think so either but I don't have any proof they aren't. Even we can "exist" in our ocean.

Yah....I do the same thing about any god. Maybe that's what has you torqued up.

I don't need to know that as fact. It's dumb to suggest that they do with any reasonable common sense.

You can think it's not and I'll laugh at you..
All good 👍

Yes in your case you insist on opining from ignorance and preconceived notions. I prefer evidence. But hey, rave on to your hearts content..

What does God have to do with it?

Conclusive proof will consist of the discovery of broadcasts from alien civilizations that have been deciphered.

Lol...sure ya do.

There's no evidence so obviously we should think that the space aliens live there.

Similar train of belief.
As I said before many thought the world was flat because it looked that way and there was no evidence to the contrary. Eratosthenes and Aristotle both thought the earth was round but it wasn't proven until Ferdinand Magellan's expedition, completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano, circumnavigated the World 1522.

You keep repeating yourself as many times as you need. It makes it funnier.

Oh...and fyi - there was always evidence that the earth was round (ish) some people even found that evidence before said dude went around the world. Back then, not everyone talked to each other about it because they all still had dialup. 👍 If we would've had the internet, the whole flat earth thing would've only been believed by (R) Comgressmen

It was started by Protestants to argue against the Catholic church.

wow you got some of the facts right...(y)

What did I just say numb nuts? Eratosthenes and Aristotle had "evidence" in the 3rd and 4th centuries BC, but it wasn't proof. That didn't come until the 16th Century. learn how to read.

and then you have to distort what you had. Yes Eratosthenes calculated the earth circumference, but they also knew the earth was oval. Anyone who has been on a large body of water can "see" the curvature. Magellan's voyage was to find a route to circumnavigate the oceans, not prove the earth was round. The Vikings even have writings showing they knew that back in the 900's.

That's your problem wrongway, you get a little knowledge, then think you know the rest. Which is why you constantly fuck up.

Lol....Of course 👍 You should totally sign up to do the Congressman's newsletter...... Maybe help him build an aquarium where you can reimagine the space aliens living in the ocean.....call it the underwater ark.....maybe throw some dinosaurs in for fun

So until we do they can be classified as alien lifeforms, asswipe. They are officially classified as Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (formerly UFOs) which is "a catch-all term to describe objects detected in the air, sea and space that defy easy explanation."

You’re trying so hard to sane-wash Congressman Burchett. 😆

That’s what you get for supporting the Clown Show Congress.

MAGATs believing alien conspiracies was not on my Bingo card for today.

Of course, MAGATs blindly defending a fellow MAGAT disphit is always on the card.

One of the undersea alien bases is at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. When they heard that Trump wants to change the name to Gulf of America, they said, “Earthling who renames geography to make himself feel important is weaker than Astirzan mud worm.”

I don't give a shit about the Congressman. My comments are in regard to those of 1174 who's incorrect takes on reality far in excess of that number.

You have no business attacking Burchett as long as Rep. Hank Johnson lives.
