Every year I forget how miserable January can be....and then February arrives and its even shitter, but at least its short!

Council have started work removing tree stump in pavement. Two lorries and three men have put barriers around the stump, removed the asphalt round the stump and driven off. Another lorry with one man drove up looked out of the side window and drove away. I await further progress. I love watching other people work.
