Pardons in the midnight hour.

This says it way better than I can

Biden Pardons Fauci, Milley, Cheney, Others in Shocking Abuse of Presidential Power

If Joe Biden's pardon of his degenerate son wasn't enough to place him among the most corrupt presidents in American history, his eleventh-hour move to pardon a slew of partisan operatives may have just rocketed him to the top of the list. In a stunning move, the president (for a few more hours, at least) issued a pre-emptive pardon for Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, and all the members of the January 6th committee, including Liz Cheney. A statement, no doubt written by Biden's handlers, declared that he still supports the "rule of law" but was forced to abuse his power to protect his partisan allies because of "extraordinary circumstances."

What are some of the alleged crimes these people have committed? Milley infamously called up the Chinese government before the 2020 election and pledged to commit treason, warning them of any possible attack ordered by Donald Trump. While he claimed he was protecting the nation, the chain of command has no "I disagree with the president" clause that allows treason to be legal. What Milley did was one of the most disturbing breaches of conduct by a military officer ever.

Returning to Biden, this is a final moment of shame for what is now inarguably the worst presidency in modern history. He has deeply abused his power to protect people from the repercussions of the law while repeatedly claiming to be "defending democracy." Does handing out pardons like candy for unspecified crimes while claiming the recipients didn't do anything wrong sound like defending democracy to you? This is the move of a third-world dictator, not a President of the United States.

Biden has stained the office in irreparable ways, and the incoming second Trump administration should do whatever it can to make those who were part of this pay. Since these pardons do not cover future actions, make these people come in and testify, forcing them to either lie again or admit they lied before. That will expose the pardons as a sham or lead to their prosecution. No one should get off the hook easily here.

Could Hunter be charged with state tax evasion?

They should go into every one of these people in detail, make these people come in and testify, forcing them to either lie again or admit they lied before. Since these pardons do not cover future actions, if they lie again, they can then be prosecuted

Biden truly is a fresh-shit turd floating in the national punch-bowl.

Brother Jim Biden is wondering WTF? 😬

🙄

BabyBoobs almost “gets it”…

Pay attention to who President Biden OFFERED pardons to (they do NOT have to accept) and who President Biden did NOT offer pardons to…and why President Biden offered pardons to THOSE individuals. (Those individuals are the decent, patriotic, loyal Americans that President Musk (and DonOld, etc) singled out for ACTUAL persecution and lawfare.)

Hope that ^ helps.

I realize that there's lots to be pissed off about, I certainly am, that being said, I would be very disappointed if Trump's justice department stooped to the same lawfare tactics as the Biden admin.

The DOJ and other law enforcement agencies need to prioritize upholding the constitution, fighting legitimate criminal behavior and stop the Beria's style of prosecutorial malfeasance.

I hope we rise above past practices and put the blinders back on Lady Justice. Vengeance disguised as justice is injustice and has no place in our legal system. We as a people need to put a mandate on our legal ( (justice) system to put guard rails on prosecutorial powers. imho

I hear what you're saying and totally agree. However certain people in the DOJ engaged in absolute wrong doing and that, at the least, has to be brought to light via a complete investigation so as to lay the facts before the people. And if the indiscretions were severe enough there should be prosecutions so as to dissuade any future behavior of the same sort.

You would need some kind of crime to prosecute them under and none exist.

That's a good job for congressional oversight. If congress submit's a referral for a criminal investigation or prosecution then that would be at the discretion of the AG or the IG. imho

That's the old "we have to pardon them to see what they're guilty of" line of "reasoning."

The problem is that if we do that, the Democrats will only come back and do it again...and again. They do not believe in the norms or in adhering to accepted practices. For them, the end always justifies the means.

What we need to do is make it so painful for them, that they will NEVER consider doing anything like this again. We need to punish those responsible ruthlessly, bankrupting them, as they did to honorable people like General Flynn, and driving them from public office and employment, and preferably also jailing them.

Pelosi and Schumer are near the end of their political careers. There were enough laws that were broken to keep the new DOJ busy. In many cases it's the courts that ran interference. The courts need to do their jobs. Going after judges is not a good look. When laws are broken then prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. I don't agree in the Steve Bannon get even philosophy.
I blame what happened to Flynn on Bill Barr and Judge Sullivan who had it in for Flynn. Sullivan played Judge, jury and executioner. Remember Barr dropped the case and Sullivan being a Trump hater refused to drop the case and took a personal interest in Flynn's prosecution, the way I remember it. Even the FBI wanted to drop the charges if I remember correctly, Peter Strzok reopened the case. Activist judges are a cancer on our judicial system.

Remember it was Joe Biden that suggested a FARA violation, the very criminal behavior his son was involved with. Funny how when the democrats accuse someone it's usually for something they themselves are guilty of.

I wish! Wouldn't this be interesting.

As for Milley, we need a few of those old British traditions back. In the old days, a revolver would have been discretely placed on the nightstand beside his bed, and he would be expected to do the gentlemanly thing. Treason is unforgivable.
