That Damned Kitten wasn't born yet, nor were Ethyl or Panther. Geezer was alive then but still with his people who threw him and Willow away, damn them. No, this was 2017 and my #1 Big Boy was Sox. He was a thrown away cat, too, but long as it took for him to adjust, he became the Big Kitteh of the household. He was a big tuxedo Kitteh with green eyes. By '17, the other 2 cats had died of old age and we were Just Us Kids for a couple of years. He watched over me as I recovered from hip replacement surgery, and he generally took care of things. So, we talked a lot. He ultimately came down with some growth in his chest and I had him put down on Good Friday of 2020. He is buried in the front yard under a white knock-out rose.
Sounds like an excellent companion. So glad you had several good years together. 🫂 😻

We were a partnership. He certainly held up his side of the deal. He did hate to travel and wasn't a fan of change, but he was always good company. And he knew his name and would come if the human called. We would play sometimes and the human would get a little rough and he'd take off - for about two steps and then turn to see if the human was chasing. That was funny.
I dont like it... come chase me and do it again.... so funny....

Such characters these cats

The boys next door were outside today.... sven loves the snow.... he runs and jumps and digs with his nose. Archie is like what is this white bullshit.... it is funny to watch

Good morning OM. I only got 4 hours of sleep as my old dog had the runs and throwing up all night long. I am taking to the vet today. I can’t take such another night. I know he was miserable.
🫂 Hoping you both have better times soon, B2
Morning all have a marvelous day.
I get the pleasure of waiting for the insurance to say okay so the pharmacists can hand me the pill experience today. It's only taken three days. Marvelous improvement in customer service.
Ugh - I hate trying a new med on a Friday. My track record tends to be 3 allergic reactions for @ every 5 medications tried. So I try to start a new med on a Mon or Tues whenever possible.
Love that movie.
How ya doing L2WU
Same - nostalgia and some funny moments
Polar Vortex is arriving ahead of schedule. Will need to up my game to avoid a migraine, but so far so good. My plans for the weekend are all indoors as well. Just stocked up on groceries yesterday so should be good there.
Main task: rearrange home office so the desk is no longer against the external wall and under the window 🥶

Take it easy and stay warm... I'm off to lunch for a short nap

I love being out on the hill with my boys but with just two weeks of our pheasant season left I am just about done in. It’s getting tougher to get the enthusiasm for early mornings and days climbing hills but I know when it ends I will miss it…….and so will the boys. I think though we are all ready for a rest

Just got back from taking Mom to her heart doctor. No changes there thank goodness. Went over her med schedule with him and now that we have done that with both docs, I am ready to put her back on her original schedule with the two of them. She was skipping three meds and taking two she shouldn't have

This will bump up her meds to 4 times a day instead of the two times she was doing, which was easier for the house keeper to keep up with but not what she needed. Not the house keepers fault, I just was being compelled to get here and take it over is all. I didn't get here as fast as needed apparently.

That's what happens when you don't listen to the universe. Even when it's tearing down your world around you. I tend to flow from one tragedy to the next over and over before I ever stop and take a look around.

Good luck with your mother. May the universe bless you both.
