They still (I think) sell an F150 with a 2 point something liter four. Insane. The 3.5l six is maybe a sweet spot? Mine runs great, and tows my boat like its not there.

My hot rod is technically a Ford (a Mercury)… but their philosophy of little motors makes me want to puke. Give me a big engine not working hard over a little engine running it’s ass off every time it drives any day.

Not that I know about such things, you understand.

My truck is the tried and true 5.0 coyote and I LOVE it. Was a GM guy most of my life, but converted to Ford and haven't looked back. My truck has been a beast and so damn reliable, regardless of the abuse I've put it through.

You should probably count yourself lucky that pulling a piece of carboard out of the dumpster, scratching on it with a Sharpie, and running around the airport didn't have airport security up your backside.
