Should men shave their pubes bald?

I'm a hairy dude in general, so I don't shave. I did a couple of times, but never liked how it looked or felt. If my wife said I needed to trim them up a little I'd make it happen for her sake, but she's never seemed to care.

I get waxed every 3 or 4 weeks because I don’t like the daily maintenance of shaving and the 15 minutes it takes to get waxed leaves me soft and smooth. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
