It’s the memories that makes the heart warm in midst of cold and snow. Oatmeal is so delicious.

My dad was an oatmeal guy. He got about 1/2 us kids on board. I used it as a facial mask. Never did real well with oatmeal or oats... makes my tummy ache.

Ah, Malt O'Meal with honey and just the right amount of lumps the way Mom used to make.

A sibling went to college in a town w/ a Malt O' Meal factory. Got so they could tell you what flavors were being made each day just by sniffing the air.

Get a generator for those!! Had an auntie who lived in MS about 40 miles south of Memphis. Some ice storms would have them without power for 2 weeks or more. She said it was kind of like winter camping inside your own home - did not recommend.

I keep tinkering with my grocery order. Wasn't sure when to schedule the pick up. Handyman day - Their morning job ran over, so they got here a few hours later than expected. Once they're finished for today, I'll have a better idea. Likely set it for tomorrow if there are spots still open. I've got staples - need more fresh fruit and veg though.

Tonight is Steelers/Ravens. I prefer Ravens, but it's a football game watching millionaires running about banging on each other and mucking about with an inflated scrap of low-grade leather. Seriously??? I have a preference, and I also realize that it doesn't make a damned bit of difference.

Did you know she refused to work with a choreographer because she can't dance. She was doing her own choreography. 2 days before the shoot the director came in and asked if she was ready, she said yes. She hadn't done anything but watch videos of emo dancing as well as other styles and winged it.

I loved that series and yes she was impressive. Just maintaining the character would be well it was good. Great
