It's Official. The First Felon President in History.

He has a trial, several lawyers, several appeals, appeared before SCOTUS. All due process elements under the Constitution, right?

Where's the beef? Is it that he lost that has you griping about due process being flawed?
With the exception that an expert witness was denied the opportunity to blow up the whole case.

That the defense didn't know what the actual criminal felony charge was till after the defense rested.

Biden violated statutes 18 U.S. codes 1924/798, no prosecution, I wonder why?
Are you talking about the classified documents? If so, trump would have gotten a pass like Joe if he had simply cooperated instead of hoarding them, lying about having given them all back, and showing some to randos because ego. He forced the government’s hand to politely knock on the door and collect them, but acts like they swooped in on MAL with troops fast roping from black helicopters in the middle of the night.

I'm assuming you're referring to former FEC commissioner and Trump fan Bradley Smith?
The guy who wanted to lecture the jury on what Federal Election Law "really means".

That's the judge's job to instruct the jury, and the judge was well within the scope of his duties to prohibit a so-called "expert" witness to lecture the jury on what a judge means.

Have you ever criticized Biden policy, not here you haven't. I've come down pretty hard on Trump on occasion. I'm honest! you're not.
Boy, I got to find those rare as hen's teeth posts–one day when I'm tired of living and catch up on those lively criticisms. Must have hurt your hands to type those berating words.

Please, help an old guy to find just one? A link maybe?

Mallard? Sir, if you don't mind, I'll help you out because I know. This member has 1 and only 1 example of being upset with trump. It's his consistent go-to. Would you like 3 guesses?
No, sir, your time is valuable so I'll tell you: It's the Bagram AF base located in Alaska.
He's critical of trump abandoning that base. That's it.

Sorry for stealing your, err, thunder there ican. I know you were hoping to surprise the hell outta MR. DMAllord here with that. :poop:

I railed on Trump's Afghanistan policy. My opinion ( not very popular ) we should have never left.

I provided ineedhelp1 a link to an article that explained how Judge Merchan would have ACTUALLY been out of line if he HAD allowed that "expert" to opine on the law rather than testify in response to questions from the prosecution and defense.

And it was THE DEFENSE that ultimately refused to call THEIR OWN "EXPERT" WITNESS, so…

Ah! Sounds like a criminal trial I once attended. The Unexpected Hanging Paradox Here's how that unfolded. Stop me if you've heard the case.
  1. The judge says the felon will be hanged on one day next week, and it will be a surprise.
  2. The felon thinks, "If I’m not hanged by Friday, then I’ll know for sure it has to happen on Saturday, and it won’t be a surprise. Therefore, they can’t hang me on Saturday."
  3. He then reasons, "If they can’t hang me on Saturday, the latest they can hang me is Friday. But if they don’t come by Thursday, I’ll know it must be Friday, so it won’t be a surprise. Therefore, they can’t hang me on Friday either."
  4. Continuing this logic, he eliminates Thursday, then Wednesday, then Tuesday, and finally Monday. He concludes that no day can truly be a surprise. So, he smugly concludes he can never be hanged.
The very next day, the hangman came with a noose; to the felon's utter surprise, he hanged him.

The paradox lies in the felon logically convincing himself he won’t be hanged, but then he is—on a day he didn’t expect. It's very much like your statement that he didn't know his crimes after his defense attorney rested. The judge weighed in afterward, enlightening the jury about his crimes, you say. We know that was false from the get-go. He was charged with state-level felony offense charges of fraudulently cooking the books to show Trump deducted expenses on his NY Taxes for work not done by Michael Cohen. Simple. Direct. Your obfuscation doesn't cut it.

Tell us the sad tale of the amount of heat you took from your side and RW PB bretheren for taking such a bold stance against trump.

I’m glad I could give you a laugh.

But the truth sometimes hurts. Trump was convicted and sentenced, but the punishment didn't fit the crime. He avoided serving the time and paying the costs associated with it, which was noted to reflect deference to his ambition of becoming the next President. That's the shame of this situation. It highlights the bias in favor of Trump. He wasn't treated like a criminal. Unfortunately, that's how things seem to operate nowadays. The rich and powerful often rise above the law.

I railed on Trump's Afghanistan policy. My opinion ( not very popular ) we should have never left.
I read your 'rail.' You sure put it out there with your couple of words saying Trump was wrong to leave the base and jump back to bashing Biden in the same breath.

You didn't say more than 'he was wrong to leave Afghanistan.' The military said that. We all said that. Do you want acknowledgment that you were critical of Trump on one topic? I ask, why not speak out about the dozens of others: sexual assault, fraud, harassment, top secret document mishandling, ad infinitum?

So are you claiming trump didn’t commit crimes and was framed for 34 felony convictions by a corrupt ny court system?
This will not age well. Let's let the appeal courts explore this judgement before we let our panties cut in too deep.

The appeals court will reverse this. No need for a pardon for Trump. But I don't think anyone on earth thinks Hunter is innocent. Not even Hunter.

It’s funny how there’s never ending appeals awarded to the orange serial liar. Hunter? Whydafuk ain’t he lexecuted yet?

I would like one person to list the actual crimes that he was charged with. Every count. What were they?

Indictment and Charges:

The Manhattan grand jury voted to indict Trump on March 30, 2023.[87] The indictment was filed with the New York Supreme Court (the ordinary trial court for felonies in the state of New York and not the final court of appeal for the state) the same day.[88] The charges were under seal until published when Trump was arraigned.[89][90]

The indictment charged Trump with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, in violation of New York Penal Law §175.10.[91][92] Each count is related to a specific business document, each having a date ranging from February 14 through December 5, 2017:[93]

  • 11 for invoices from Michael Cohen
  • 9 for general ledger entries for Donald J. Trump
  • 9 for checks from Donald J. Trump
  • 3 for general ledger entries for the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust
  • 2 for checks from the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust
The allegedly falsified documents are related to Trump's payment to Stormy Daniels as hush money. The payments were listed in the business records as a legal expense payable to Michael Cohen, whereas the indictment alleges that they were actually to reimburse Cohen for the earlier, allegedly illicit, payment to Daniels.[94][95]
