Circumstances in NYC when United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot:

-6:47am
-One of the busiest parts of Midtown Manhattan.
-Investors meeting at 8am

Details:
-Shooter utilized a suppressor. Good stance. Knows his weapon. Knew his target - no hesitation
-Likely used subsonic ammunition, wasn't enough "kick" to cycle the weapon with the suppressor attached.
-Shooter knew his weapon. The gun had to be manually cycled and appears to have jammed after the first 3 rounds. The shooter seemed to be familiar with handling a firearm and appears to have expected and been ready to manually cycle the action and clear the jam. This was prepared for and practiced.
-Shooter wore easily switched clothing. Look at his apparel. It's a zip up hoodie and baggy pants. With both he can easily have another get up on underneath. Within seconds he could've ditched every distinguishing thing he had on him.
-Shooter had backpack
-The shooter had been waiting for 5 minutes when shooting happened. He knew the area. Knew the target and approx timing.
-Had an escape route mapped out and escaped on E-bike
 
One wonders if he was about to cut a deal with the DOJ, and sing like a canary... 🤔
 
It is completely shocking. At first I assumed it was a person pissed off at the health insurance industry, but a crazed member of Joe Public could probably not have pulled this off. It does have all the sign of a professional hit man. WTF!!!!

He also left a cell phone behind with what I'm sure is some kind of message the cops aren't releasing.

Did you have a pre-existing condition that an insurance company used to not provide you adequate care? Were you forced to have to discuss your healthcare needs with an accountant at an inconvenient time? Or, was it one of those illegals getting ahead of you at the ER?

I didn't realize until I read yesterday that UHC was far and away the leader in denying health insurance claims. UHC denied a whopping 32% of all claims in 2020, far above the insurance industry average. Blue Cross, by comparison, denied 16% of claims.

UHC seems to have morphed into a "claims denial specialist" under the leadership of Brian Thompson, who had been CEO of UHC for over a decade.

It appears he was on a path of serious consequences due to his blatant manipulation of UHC stock prices to benefit himself personally.
