Some inspiration from wat.
This weekend was the turkey derby at Wall Stadium, an old race track down the shore.
I didn’t go this year, just too cold, but it’s the last big modified race of the year. A modified race car is exactly that. An old car lightness and modified to run even faster. Mid size car bodies, stuffed with big block engines.
Frankie Schneider from Lambertville, was the nascar champion in 1952. Here’s his mid 70s gremlin.
And his mid 70s pinto.
